Hidden Gem in Astoria! I’ve been living in Astoria for years and just stumbled across this place by pure accident — how did I miss it all this time? I’ve tried nearly every slice in the neighborhood, and in my opinion, this is hands down the best NYC-style slice around.
I ordered a plain cheese slice, and it was absolutely spot-on: perfectly crispy undercarriage with a soft, moist interior. The sauce was beautifully balanced, and the cheese had that ideal stringy melt you look for. My only minor note is that it was a bit on the greasy side — not sure if that was from the cheese or added oil — but honestly, it didn’t take away from how great it was.
I’ll definitely be coming back regularly. If you love a solid NYC slice and you’re in Astoria Ditmars, this place deserves a spot...
Read moreGreat pizza if you dine in. 1hr+ for delivery. Then I opened the box. Cmon guys. I ordered a large pie with toppings, garlic knots, and 2 cans of gingerale. The guy bring a my pizza in one trip; forgot the other two items. Then he comes back with garlic knots and no drinks. Now he’s going back AGAIN to get the drinks. Whoever operates the phone seriously needs to coordinate better in the workplace. I’ve worked in a pizzeria for 9 years. There’s no reason the delivery driver should have to make 2 separate trips to complete a delivery unless there’s a severe miscommunication with the driver and the order taker. I understand it’s a small shop; with limited personnel. Please let this review serve as an incentive...
Read moreI came in for some napkins as I had water spilled in my purse. As soon as I pick up some napkins the man behind the counter was extremely condescending and rude. Is there seriously a problem with me grabbing napkins?? I won’t be coming back because I’ve had the pizza before and it’s mediocre at best, but the way the man spoke to me was just the cherry on top. Everyone else on here claims the servers are friendly so I’m not sure if it has to do with the color of my skin, but I felt extremely disrespected over some napkins. How about that older man not be so stingy over napkins and work on making better pizzas. Thanks for...
