Jade Bamboo — Restaurant in New York

They look like your regular Chinese food place, seems like nothing special on the outside but when you get their food, you will see the difference! They are hands down my favorite Chinese food place, not only in Middle Village, but ever! Serious props to them for great quality and consistency. It’s always piping hot, fresh ingredients and delivery is fast. The front counter staff is very friendly, always smiling 🙂 The vegetables are fresh which I personally feel sets them apart and the meat is not rubbery and strange texture like some of the other places 😂 The flavors are clean and not greasy. I honestly couldn’t say enough great things, and I’m truly shocked there isn’t more positive reviews for these guys because I’ve seen on Facebook posts that they are preferred more than most other places in the area. Give Jade Bamboo some love 🥰 My personal faves are broccoli chicken with vegetable fried rice, fried cheese wontons and sweet n sour chicken. But I’ve never had anything off their menu I didn’t like. Do Not Order Take Out Here! I used to order from this place weekly and out of nowhere they jacked up their prices obnoxiously and can't even make a simple chicken with broccoli. I ordered my regular meal I've been ordering and I receive dry broccoli with over cooked dry wrinkled chicken with no sauce. When we called to complain about the order we were told this is what the order is an if you want it in sauce you have to pay extra. This is obsurd and they would not replace the order nor refund it unless we physically went to the store to bring it to them (which is not near my home otherwise I wouldn't be ordering takeout). The staff was very rude on the phone and nor accomodating on top of sending the food poorly made and cooked. I will no longer be ordering...

I been coming here since the tip o covid. They never closed. Last night i had yearn for just Tofu steamed with mushrooms and scallions. 1-not on the menu. 2- they made it for me. 3- The best i ever tasted. It was a little late. I so appreciated it. At this point in time, family friends have eaten most of the menu. The meats dishes are always fresh. The soup always have flavor. The rice is always fresh. The garlic eggplant is a favorite of mine.
