Note, on 4/12/21 when I visited they were on the southeast corner of 48th and Park. I ordered the custom combo of jerk chicken, curry chicken, and brown stew chicken, with rice and macaroni salad in size medium for $19. Though a medium, they packed it with so much food that it was good for 2 meals so I think the price was actually reasonable. I'd say the jerk chicken was the strongest of the 3 meats. The brown stew chicken was good but not as flavorful and the curry chicken I think you'd be better off going to an Indian restaurant.

My favorite seller of Jamaican cooking. Authentic, fresh, wholesome, incredibly flavorful and great ingredients. The best are the classics: Jerk Chicken and Curry Chicken with the sides. My advice is ask for the sauces and gravies ON the meat. It enhances the flavor. UES on York Avenue near the hospitals Wednesday during lunch hours.

You can’t find goat head soup in Midtown, except here! I don’t have to say much the photo tells it all. Quality meat, FRESH ifykyk. So much flavor, not too thick, not too watery. Their jerk chicken always hits! Their macaroni salad, HITS! Anything on their breakfast menu hits! Been a long time customer ā¤ļø

Wow I'm honestly shocked at this rating myself but I have to be honest, I am disappointed with the service I received today. I made a group order with my colleagues, we called ahead of time and I even asked the gentleman on the phone to repeat my order and he did successfully. I go to the truck to pick up my food and was told it was $47 so I pay $50 ( 2 $20 bills & 2 $5 bills) and ask for a receipt. I see the total on the receipt is $41 and the gentleman hands me $3 so I ask about my change because it doesn't add up. He tells me I paid him $45, i end up just leaving with my food because I'm annoyed already (the food also took 15 more minutes to finish even though I called and asked when should I arrive). When I get back to the office I notice that we're missing an order of oxtails, I should have noticed it on the receipt but I was too upset thinking about the fact they basically stole from me. So overall they stole my money and forgot my order.. this is a shame because I've had Jerk Pan before and when they get it right it's good but when they mess up like today it's absolutely horrible. They should improve whatever method they use for group orders, dont tell me to arrive in 15 minutes. Just take your time and if it'll take another 15-20 minutes to prepare an order then let the customer know. And there's no reason why there's 2 people handling cash and can't keep track of what money they receive from...

Don't be turned off by the peeling paint of the truck and poorly printed menus, passing this place up (as I've done for months) is a huge mistake.

I'm not great fan of Jerk Chicken, but this place single-handedly managed to turn me. For $8.50 I received a huge serving of jerked chicken just ready to fall off the bone, smothered in an incredible jerk sauce that I was may or may not have licked off the plate afterwards in a moment of desperation.

The only downside to the meal was that they chopped the chicken before they served it, while on the bone, which meant more little pieces of bone to pick off the meat. I'll ask them to refrain in the future, but it's worth the extra effort if it doesn't pan out.

The lunch special also included two sides, rice and steamed cabbage by default, although they have other items including fried plantains on the menu. Rice diligently sopped up the extra jerk sauce and was worth the price of lunch by itself. Cabbage was bland, but what do you expect from steamed cabbage?

I'll be back; That Oxtail Stew was eyeing me as...

Allow me to begin by stating that this food truck undeniably offers some delectable fried and jerk chicken. However, I must express my disappointment regarding the noticeable decline in the quality of their curry goat. While the fried chicken with rice and beans that I ordered was truly exceptional and left me thoroughly satisfied, the curry goat accompanied by white rice was a profound letdown. The flavor profile was lacking, and to exacerbate matters, the rice itself was disappointingly dry. It is my sincere hope that the food truck addresses this issue promptly and rectifies the situation as soon...
