Joe Coffee Company: Brooklyn Heights — Restaurant in New York

I am a regular at Joe Coffee as it is only two blocks away from my home but it frustrates me to even have to write this review. This past week I walked in as I normally do but this time I wore my star of David pendent my grandmother had given me the week prior. The person taking my ordered did not treat me any differently but the barista (younger, dark curly haired girl) stared me down. I felt her hatefulness and bitterness cutting through every time she glanced over. Then while she made my coffee I watched as she dropped her head and spit into my drink before she poured the milk in. I love coming to Joe but this has truly made me feel unwelcome and unsafe in my own neighborhood. Please do something about this Joe Coffee it cannot happen to...

The best coffee in comparison to other chains such as Starbucks, Irving farm. If you really care of what goes into your cup as I do, give this place a try. I am very picky about coffee, so i prefer dense texture, rich flavor & scent. Joe got it all. Plus their blend has absolutely unique flavor, you'll never mix it up with any other. Love from the first sip. I guarantee that the next step you do is that you'll not resist to buy a bag of freshly roasted beans home to extend the pleasure. Enjoy! The pumpkin spice iced latte was awful and extremely overpriced ($8.25 plus a dollar tip 🙃). With that price it truly pains me to say I poured it out after drinking half of it. When I received it the cold foam on top was very yummy but when I took a sip with a straw, the main drink was warm 🥴 barely any ice, and syrup sitting on the bottom. (Assuming the hot espresso was poured over ice instead of into the milk to cool it first? What little ice there was melted within 30 min…)
