Vintage Shopping & Foodie Spots in NYC's Bushwick: Your One-Stop Guide

I should start by mentioning, I attempted to reach out to the Owner before writing this review and no response. We returned a second time a week after our initial visit for Sopa de Caracol and specialty flour tortillas made with coconut milk, being from the coast. We coordinated everything the day before, but it was a huge disappointment. I found a hard shell in the conch soup, which it's supposed to have none, the tortillas were burned and we found no sign or taste of coconut milk (as per pics). While the hospitality was pleasant, the food didn't leave much too desire and we drove a long ways to throw away $85 and never even receive a courtesy response call. Extremely disappointed and disheartened that we work so hard for our money to be further insulted after such neglect to food preparation and serving‼️

As Honduran I can tell this is the best Honduran restaurant in NYC! And I’ve been to most of them! Large menu with the most authentic dishes from Honduras! Prices are very reasonable and service is really good! It can get a little loud during the weekends but is part of the Honduran experience lol! Their sopa de caracol is 2die4! Baleadas, enchiladas and plato típico are bomb!!! I only wish they sold Salva Vidas!

I actually have to commend these folks for a different reason. I was out in a run and the need to 2 hit me really really hard. I wasn’t going to make it back to my apartment. After several classically inhuman New York refusals of no bathroom wing of if I bought something, they let me in my desperation. I bought a bottle of water and tipped heavily. Really just trying to point out that a few establishments on Knickerbacker are inhuman, and these folks are nice and reasonable....
