Bites & Sips — Restaurant in New York

Just thinking about this place brings a tear to my eye. I'm writing full formal review with correct capitalization and grammar JUST for this place because my experience was splendid. Magnificent. Life-altering. Firstly, the lady at the front was so sweet. You never get that nowadays, please give everyone who works here a massive raise. I was in a bad place coming here and walking out that shop made me reconsider going through with my intrusive thoughts. I said, "if I'm no longer alive, I won't be able to order Bites & Sips' wondrous confetti mochi donuts". And I cried eating those. It was my first time trying mochi in general so I was a bit scared, but oh my god. They're PERFECTLY soft, and not overbearingly sweet. I savored every bite on the hour-trip home. I forgot what I ordered as a drink as this was a year ago, but I remember it was something strawberry. Again, I cried. Usually I go to bubble tea shops and they put just a bit too much sugar, a bit too much honey. I did not have that experience with this place. No complaint with what I ordered. I usually can't eat too much sweet things or I'll get sick, I walked out WISHING I ordered more. I can't IMAGINE giving this place under 4 stars, even under 5. I'd give this place much more honestly, but if you're a tourist; you don't need to go to some big bubble tea shop in Manhattan. COME HERE. I PROMISE YOU, IT'S WORTH IT 🥹❤️‍🩹 I LOVE YOU...

I LOVE this spot! Great food, great customer service and great location. Anytime I go thrifting in the area, I always stop in for the best mochi donuts and bubble tea in Brooklyn. The quality of their products is exceptional and the owner Vicky is such a gem. They make each batch of donuts fresh daily and she explained that the frosting is actually made from a chocolate base which is harder to work with but adds to the quality and uniqueness of their donuts. My favorite is the ube but I have tried almost every flavor and they’re all exceptional. The boba is always fresh and warm as well…SO GOOD. Vicky and her family put so much love into their business...

FINALLY!!!! This neighborhood was missing a good bubble tea shop and now the good lord has answered my bubble tea prayers. It hits all the requirements of a solid bubble tea spot:

Soft and chewy tapioca? ✔️ All the crowd pleasing flavors? ✔️ Reasonable and affordable prices? ✔️

Is this the best bubble tea ever? No, the variety is somewhat lacking (e.g., minimal toppings) and the fruit flavors rely a bit too much on syrup. But for the price and the quality, this is easily the best bubble tea shop in the area....
