When I’m hungry, I think of Yough. When I eat a sandwich that’s not from Yough, I immediately and instinctively think how much better it would’ve been had it been from Yough. And when I’m remotely accessible to Yough, I will ALWAYS make the visit and think about it every minute on the way over as well as text everyone I know photos of the resulting sandwich but usually only after it’s gone, so yes the photo will be of an empty plate, because it was that delicious and that CONSISTENTLY spot-on for everything my vegan heart could desire.

And always so affordable!! All the value packed into each bite
I sometimes think to myself, I coulda realistically paid 2x this at a NYC restaurant and received a sandwich not even half as insanely good as Yough’s.

I’ve introduced Yough to equal fanfare and rave reviews to family, non-vegan friends, and one day hopefully to my roommate who doesn’t much like to leave the house, because he’s a cat, but would surely appreciate a trip to Yough just based on how warm, welcoming, so so fun, kind and homey everyone in the store - and the sweetest owner! wow - makes the experience feel the moment you step thru the doors.

Sometimes I even text my partner “i miss you” and it autocorrects to “i miss Yough”, because I’ve deliberately typed the latter so many times.

A true community staple & hub of the highest form.

We need more places like Yough in this world, in this city. Till then, there’s only one Yough!! If you’re reading this review consider it your sign to...

Ah I can’t stop thinking about the delicious sandwich I had from Yough last week (and when will be the next time I can come back)!! This is a really fun little vegan outpost that I would absolutely love to live nearer to—they have great pantry/frozen items, tons of snacks and condiments, fresh baked goods and fantastic sandwiches!! They’ve built an extensive menu of diverse sandwiches, BUT they also offer “build your own” sandwiches which is definitely something that I miss since going vegan—and took for granted as a nonvegan (just stopping into a deli and crafting my own sandwich was a luxury I never truly appreciated).

Love that they’ve recreated that experience for vegans!! I built my own sandwich and was given a suggestion to add an extra sauce (garlic sauce, amazing) that was much appreciated, as the sandwich has become the subject of my dreams recentlyđŸ€Ł definitely do not skip this place!! Super nice people and tasty food!...

What's not to love about Yough?!

My partner and I lovingly call it our vegan 7-Eleven. Whether you're looking for your next meal, hungry for a quick snack, looking to restock on groceries, or simply after a coffee & bagel, Yough has it all.

Jaime and her team create incredibly delicious and inventive sandwiches that are made-to-order...I often go for the Today's Special and am pleasantly surprised by the flavor combinations that Jaime comes up with.

As a vegan, I love being able to walk into Yough and not have to think twice about any of the food that I'm selecting or products that I'm buying. Whether you're a sweet tooth or prefer something savory, there are tons of options to choose from at Yough. Need some fresh bread? Want a fresh bag of popcorn or a pretzel? Time for some new laundry detergent sheets? Yough's got you covered.

And the best perk? Yough's...

Wow, not surprised that Yough has a review of 5 stars across the board! This is a phenomenal bodega deli in Bushwick, Brooklyn. I’m not kidding when I say - the BEST vegan deli EVER. Jamie does not play. Great deli selections as well in terms of product. I love how you can customize your sandwiches and I also love the ones that are on the menu because the flavor combos are on point. I love the Mela drinks that they carry. Blessed to experience this gem :’) I can’t believe they perfected those deli meats and don’t even get me started on that pretzel challah roll. I dream about when I’m returning to this place. The Drex is my absolute favorite and the Hannah is pretty good too. Also - great prices!!!!!
