Their breads are always fresh tasty, and if u visit very early in the morning u might be able to catch still warm bake goods. Their homemade Oat drink its a bit too sweet for me, I wish it wasn't so sweet, because it does have a good taste. My favorite are the Arepa de Choclo specially the ones that are crunchy and nicely toasted on the edges YUMMMYYYY! Their empanadas are not the best though, sometimes very empty, very little meat and more potatoes. Baked sweet goods are like any other Latin American cakes, which are all...diabetes sweet...VERY VERY SWEET!! but not as sweet as Dominican Republic cakes, those are just a mouth full of sugar hahaha SERVICE: it's not the best, but it's not the worst either, some days u will get a smile from the cashiers sometimes its just, a sort of, "pay and get out" hahahaha which I don't blame them, specially these times. I grew up here so I been going to this bakery since I was basically a kid. But today broke the camels back! I order 10 empanadas - 2 coffee - 5 pandeono- 1 big pan con ceso- and ask for hot sauce (picante) I ordered 40 dollars worth of goods. When I pay and check there was just. One (1) in the bag! - I ask where the hot sauce. Time was 8:30-9:00am - where I would think every bakery should be stacked up. Meanwhile, remember she already charged and gave me my change.

She tells me, oh we don’t have any. Ask the other girl -they both smile and say oh no.. In 2 hours we should have some!!!! Then why you charged me and what about everyone else behind me? - or do they just target people they don’t like? I highly doubt, there was no picante… some people walked out as well saying that was so rude. There was Wow moment- I think this is a goodbye…. I rather go...

The service, however, was very good and fast. I also want to point out that they don’t have the option to leave a tip when paying with a card, which shows a lack of empathy from the owners towards their employees — adding that option would definitely help them do better.

The Rollo de Arequipe didn’t taste fresh, it had a fridge flavor and was hard. On the other hand, the pandebonos had very good flavor, and the pandeyucas were also delicious.
