3.5 stars. It was a rare occasion, but I happened to be in this neighborhood tonight and saw that Teriyaki One had recently opened. The signs out front showcasing some of their Grand Opening specials lured me inside to check them out. The restaurant is a fast casual joint. You order at the counter, go down the line as they make your food and wait for your number to be called.

The food here reminds me of those that you get at the mall. Not to say the food was terrible, it was actually pretty good. Portions weren’t bad and the prices can’t be beat. And even though food is made to order, the food is made quickly.

I was originally going to order one of their Bento boxes but decided at the last minute to try their Salmon poke bowl ($13.35) instead and an order of fried dumplings ($4.69). They don’t allow for any customizing of the poke bowl other than to ask if you wanted the salmon to be cooked or raw. Oh, and they also asked what kind of dressing I wanted. I opted for the citrus ponzu. The poke bowl had large cut pieces of salmon, plain crab meat, seaweed salad, avocado and lettuce over white rice. I thought the dish wasn’t too bad. They were a bit stingy with the ponzu sauce and I wish they had more options for ingredients but still the dish was tasty. The salmon pieces tasted fresh, and I did like the combo of the avocado, seaweed salad and crab meat. The fried dumplings were solid. It had nice thin crunchy skin, and the filling was good. I mainly ordered it for some texture contrast while eating with the poke bowl.

Overall, I was glad I tried them out. The diner was quick, easy, and inexpensive.

Tip: Don’t forget to get a stamp card. Purchase 6 Teriyaki dish and get...

Even with the small size and capacity of the restaurant, even being able to see your food being made right in front of you, it comes with many other bonuses that will keep you coming. Not only is the quality of the food top notch with no complaints from me so far, you get it served quick, fresh, for a VERY good price, I do not see any complaints with this restaurant besides some people at the cashier being in some sort of a rush to take your order but at the end of the day it doesn’t affect the good food you receive and you’ll be happy enough after eating it. I would recommend you stop by here at least one time to try out what they have and most likely be a usual customer which I am myself, I mean they even have discounts and deals for free food which just makes the cherry on top for how good this...

Absolutely horrible. I spent 15 dollars on a salmon pokebowl because I cannot ear teriyaki sauce. The guy who made it put teriyaki sauce I told him I cannot eat teriyaki sauce instead of fixing my order and remaking he took off only the top layer. I showed him there's still teriyaki sauce esp on my avocados. I trusted that he would remake the bowl but the end result? Still the same teriyaki sauce all over my rice and only 3 pieces of avocado. STILL with the sauce. Absolutely negative stars for service. This is FRAUD. Why would I spend 15+ dollars on a pokebowl if they're just making it a teriyaki bowl. I could only eat the fish and the kani everything else contaminated with teriyaki sauce, god forbid it was an allergy issue. You can see from the pics, there were 3 pieces of avocado all...

I stopped by this sushi spot recently and overall had a good experience. The rolls were fresh and tasty, and the prices are fair—great for a casual meal. You can dine in, but the atmosphere could use some improvement. The space feels a bit plain and quiet; adding some color, music, or decor would really help bring it to life. That said, the food is good, so whether you eat in or take it to go, it’s a reliable option.
