Las Delicias Mexicanas — Restaurant in New York

A true hidden gem in east harlem. The employees are friendly and responsive. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting. I have dined in with friends and other times with my family and also in large gatherings. It has always been a positive and enjoyable experience. My favorite things to order are the authentic tacos particularly the carnitas/pork. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their Horchata & their Churros. Haven't found a place that even goes near to what they produce. They even have an event space on the other side of the main entrance and a cute courtyard to serve the needs of customers. I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly.

He cenado con amigos y otras veces con mi familia y también en grandes reuniones. Siempre ha sido una experiencia positiva y agradable. FAM! I ordered esquites from this establishment and let me tell you…it had to go straight in the trash. I got a cup of milky, greasy soup with a couple kernels of corn floating at the bottom and some chunks of cheese instead of the cup of seasoned corn I thought I was going to get.

Oh my lord I was so disappointed. I couldn’t even choke it down.

I called the establishment and I spoke with the nicest lady ever and if not for her, this would be absolutely 0 stars! Customer service is everything to me so it is what it is; I ate the cost of ordering dinner for my trash can and now I gotta figure out something else to eat.

You can’t walk one block down and get a cup of corn and then come here and get this…

Apparently this is a Mexican staple and I appreciate that authenticity but…I hope everybody else don’t get surprised by what they’re getting.

Edit: I found part of a plastic ring in my Mangonada. Yeah, even customer service can’t fix that. What was going on in...

If you’re looking for real Mexican food and not the usual Tex-Mex, La Delicias Mexicanas is the spot. From the moment you walk in, you know it’s the real deal! Authentic flavors, warm atmosphere, and dishes that taste like they came straight from a Mexico.

The food is incredible and every plate is full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and served hot. You can taste the freshness in every bite, whether it’s the tacos, mole, or their daily specials. Nothing feels watered down or Americanized.

And let’s talk about the drinks… they do not hold back on the alcohol! The margaritas are strong, smooth, and perfectly balanced, and every cocktail I’ve tried has been top-notch. You definitely get your money’s worth here.
