Tucked away on Frederick Douglass Boulevard, Le Paris Dakar is a cozy Senegalese-French café that took me completely by surprise. It’s a small, charming spot with a soft, jazzy vibe and a menu that blends West African flavors with classic French pastries.
I came here for brunch on a whim and ordered the chicken yassa crêpe — a creative spin on the traditional Senegalese dish. The chicken was tender, marinated in lemon and onion sauce, and wrapped in a perfectly thin, buttery crêpe. It was both hearty and delicate.
Their baobab juice was another revelation — slightly sweet, citrusy, and packed with antioxidants. For dessert, I had their homemade mango tart, which had a flaky crust and just the right level of sweetness.

Read moreBest crepes I've ever had!!! Found this amazing café after taking a dance class across the street at Cumbe. We were looking for a nice place to have a bite to eat and Le Paris Dakar was recommended. It's a very nicely designed place with a warm vibe. The staff was super super friendly and you can tell that they really cared. Mr. GB (I believe that was his name) was attentively making a nutella crepe was unreal. Also had the apple turnover, the ginger pineapple juice which was great too. My only regret is not getting a second crepe for the road! Will be back. Thank you and congrats on an amazing...

A food that I have never seen before, I don't know what chemicals are used to cook but seeing the appearance of the vegetable it inspires no confidence. I reported the problem to the staff of the place and they didn't seem surprised, they didn't find any reason to justify the problem. I threw the crepe away on the front of them because it was inedible and they did not deign to make a commercial gesture or anything else. They have no problem letting go of a customer who is disappointed with their food. I do not recommend this place if you want to avoid...
