The food here is nice but the staff not so much. I go to this cafe often to work on my laptop but apparently they have a new rule and laptops are not allowed. I went to the cafe to work per usual but on this particular day a staff member asked me to put my computer away when I asked why in a very short tone she responded that they have a sign that says no laptops and pointed to the sign.( The sign is small and I wasn't wearing my glasses, I have trouble seeing things far away.) I get off my laptop and start using my phone when another crew member literally yells at me from across the room to put my mac away. It was open but I wasn't using it. I tell her and her coworker their tones were inappropriate and they tell me if I don't like it to not come back. Mind you, these are the same girls who I saw a week earlier ignore a disabled woman with one leg who made a purchase and then asked for tap water on a 90 degree day, she happened to be latina. I'm Black. I mention that because it's interesting that this very french cafe has only one Black worker. We are in Harlem. The Black mecca. The starbucks and other local restaurants have no issues finding Black or employees of color but this shop only hires white people. Maybe they are right I...

Woke up earlier to a rainy day forecast and it somehow transported me to rainy and cold days during month-long vacations in Paris and what comforted me would be a cup of hot chocolate and freshly baked pastries. So I looked up the nearest French bakery that can do delivery. Of course I was also lured in by the promising reviews of this place.

Ordered croissants, pain au chocolat and the true test of it all as always, a baguette. Once Uber Eats got here, I was so excited. The croissants were as good as the ones I had in France and the pain au chocolat was delicious! The baguette for some reasons, did not really meet my expectations. I'm not sure if I got unlucky or if Uber Eats somehow didn't manage to pack it well. It was really cold and quite tough to eat. Really hoping it was the latter, especially because I've heard great things about it, using French flour, etc.

Still loved most of the experience. Hope to be able to visit soon to check out everything else that they...

So disappointed this being my first time at Le Petit Parisien. I ordered a macchiato and egg on croissant then proceeded to pay but because their machine is having issues this woman (the cashier who is white and short with straight blonde hair) yells out that my card was not working that the payment did not go through and I needed to try again. No discetion at at all. Not to mention I used the same card and it processed just fine the second go. To make matters worse as the next customer comes up and has the same issue she tells her politely to try again and says that mine had an error message and didn't go through. Terrible customer service. Never going back ! Ps. Egg on croissant is boiled egg on extra...
