I went to this restaurant as it is the closest Chinese spot to my job. On my lunch break, I dined in, and ordered General Tso chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup. I wanted about 10 minutes for my food, so wait time was decent enough, they had also given me some black tea and wonton crisps during the wait time, which I didn’t really eat much of that as it they didn’t taste fresh. After receiving my food, I was pleased with the taste, and portion size was decent enough, though I feel I would have received more if I ordered through takeout, but luckily, I wasn’t too hungry to begin with, so I ate as much as I could for the time being in there. Shortly after being done, I did have an upset stomach and had to use the bathroom asap, I’m not sure if it was the food or the tea they had served, but the effects were almost immediate and was not feeling so good to eat for the rest of the day. As soon as leaving the bathroom, I saw they placed my check on the table, which was a bit odd but I guess they wanted me to pay right away. But overall, food tasted fine, service was okay though I believe they could be a bit more responsive and outgoing to me, and the food was reasonably priced. Would probably not recommend going again because of my personal experience but as the only Chinese food option in the area would say do as you wish going to this restaurant but would not highly recommend it.

So far so good. Not a lot of people in here but the delivery service is non stop. We ordered steamed beef dumplings, general tso and I ordered the scallop house special. Mine was kind of kind general tso but with scallops. It was good. The actual general tso was a tad salty for me the person who ordered it preferred my dish. We all liked the dumplings. The people are great. Attentive and were nice to a "baby". They gave extra napkins and said, "you have baby". Haha The atmosphere is nice. The prices are a tad more than usual dinky Chinese food stores. There's a reason. It's better than dinky stores. Love the tea pot. Good to drink warm things after a meal. No one takes a shot of the restroom. I guess I might be a first LOL not the best place I've been to but it's also not the worst. Edit: Been here few times after review. It's a cozy place. We'll probably keep coming. No issues the 4 times we've been here.

This restaurant was another one of my very on version of taste of chinese cuisine in Brooklyn while on a visit this past week. First of all, I don’t think that my server understood me. I decided on the lunch menu because I didn’t want to purchase something and get disappointed. I decided on the shrimp and broccoli but I wanted fried rice with it. I loved the shrimp and broccoli but when I tried the rice, I was like what is this to myself. I thought to myself maybe I’m missing something, so I tried it again, I said to myself no, this is something I can not eat. I did pick around the rice and eat the shrimp and broccoli which was very tasty. Everyone has an opinion and different tastes buds and I get that. Maybe someone else may love it.

If you have any decency and self pride i would advise you not step inside this classless racist establishment. My mother and i decided to have a quick evening meal there this summer while vacationing in NY,after receiving our meal (which was culinary mediocracy at best) if i must say so,we asked for the waiter to bring our check. Upon the waiter returning with our check we left a payment for what was owed and began to leave as we didn't find it necessary to leave a tip for the waiters average service,,which consisted of him just simply placing an order and bringing us our order with not one touch of customer personalization or friendliness. As we began to leave he followed us to the door asking" where his tip was",,my mother explained that we were not gonna be able to tip today,he than stormed away and grabbed his manager who then came out and decided to scold and chastise us in front of a room filled with customers on the policy of tip-giving and how his employess dont make much. After going on for what seemed to be like10 minutes i explained what "gratuity" was and how it is optional and also how him scolding us in front of people about not leaving a tip was not only disrespectful but totally unprofessional,,,he then told us to shut up and get out and while we were speaking he had a young lady behind the counter turn up the music volume on full blast to drown us out all while others were still dining. Ive never had such a discusting experience in my life,do yourself a favor and skip this joint and spend your money with an establishment that carries themselves with a little more...

One of the best dining experiences I've had in the entire NYC metropolitan area. I just saw this place from the street, thought to give it a go, and was shocked.

The feeling I got from my experience here was hard to describe. It was almost like stepping back to this fabled pre-9/11 time which I've heard of. When America in general was a lot more generous.

For a sit-down meal for 1 person, I went for the lunch special. Ordered General Tso's chicken. I paid $12 cash for the entire meal, tip included. It was shockingly good value and more than that, the first "cheap" meal I've had in the entire area in a place where even fast food will cost around the same price.

The offerings feel very generous, and therefore uniquely luxurious. Free tea, wonton strips with sauce, and a fortune cookie at the end. My lunch special even came with a choice of a soup or iced tea! Food is great and importantly, I actually felt full after eating.

Service is blazingly fast. The waiters are polite. My only complaint is they are a bit too eager to get you out the door as fast as possible. Despite this minor imperfection though, I highly...
