I’m not sure if people are expecting this park to be more than what it can be or they are just confused. During the day, it’s a good spot to sit down and have lunch. Like most places in the city, it’s honestly a perfect spot to people watch ha. There’s so many different personalities walking through this park it’s just comical and interesting. In a nonjudgmental way. The skateboarders are just living their best life like the boys in my middle school once did. It’s refreshing to see young kids being outside enjoying being outside. Pack a lunch, buy a lunch… just take a hour out of your day and check out the area, just sit and be present. Simple pleasures in life!
Ignore any of the less fortunate people that may wonder into the park. Times are heavy on the soul. I hope this park remains open for a...

Anyhow, just wish Mayor Adam would take care of Harlem as it has been struggling to keep up with Brooklyn’s development and it doesn’t feel as safe as before, homeless and drug uses are everywhere and I hope Eric Adam is seeing the downturn of Harlem. Otherwise, these beautiful places going up here in Brooklyn will just be like Harlem high rises. Paying a lot of rent and greeted by homelessness, drugs and violence at...
