Little Roy Coffee Co. — Restaurant in New York

I usually never leave reviews but my experience this morning was not the best. I come to this coffee shop at least 4 times a week, they have amazing lattes and their pastries look great too. However their customer service is so bad. Everytime I go inside it just feels kinda awkward? Today I ordered my usual iced latte and the lady taking my order over charged me. I told her “oh I always come here and it’s never that price, did you raise the prices?” And she then gave me a attitude and said “Um I just put it in”. The girl behind her , who literally takes my order everytime I come in just stood there. A iced latte with oat milk is always $6.20, she charged me $7.08? My last time going there, which is a bummer because they have the best...

I am so disappointed in the service I received. I live in The area and always love to support my local business I have been going to this coffee shop for over a year ordering the same thing and paying the same price even up til yesterday now I came to get my regular coffee and this rude barista was very disrespectful trying to charge me double what I normally pay! Even though I simply explained I never pay that price she was talking over me giving me attitude and as a black woman having this lady talk down to me and ask me to leave the store that I've been supporting EVERYDAY BEFORE SHE WAS EVEN HIRED !? I loved Little Roy's when I live Bed Stuy, loved finding them when we moved here in 2021. Great coffee with good vibes. It's one of our favorites in the neighborhood. Definitely our go to for most mornings. They have the best coffee around. Locally roasted, locally owned.

Breakfast options are great, pastries always fresh and their egg sandwich is tasty... just watch out for the spice level on that egg and cheese. If you're a baby about spice, like me, you can ask for it with a little less kick. :-) Bariistas are always kind too. Love love...
