Sunday Buffet Brunch at Lobster Steakhouse

Nestled in Washington Heights, Lobster Steakhouse has elevated the Sunday buffet brunch experience to new heights, blending culinary elegance with an inviting atmosphere. Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted with a warm ambiance that perfectly set the tone for what was to become an unforgettable gastronomic journey.

The buffet spread was breathtaking, a vibrant tapestry of colors and aromas that beckoned guests to indulge. Must-try dishes included the rich and flavorful paella, brimming with succulent seafood nestled in seasoned saffron-infused rice. This dish was a testament to the chef's expertise, each bite bursting with bold flavors that spoke of the coastlines where such traditional fare was born. Complementing this was the pernil, a slow-roasted pork dish that was as tender as it was flavorful, seasoned beautifully, with crispy skin adding a delightful texture that evoked feelings of home-cooked nostalgia.

The yellow rice served alongside was a pristine canvas, perfectly fluffy and buttery, each grain coated in spices that harmonized beautifully with the meaty dishes. The salmon, cooked to perfection, was flaky yet moist, infused with hints of citrus that captured the essence of a fresh seaside brunch. Each dish was not just a meal, but a celebration of culinary craftsmanship.

To elevate the experience further, Lobster Steakhouse offered an impressive selection of drinks, highlighted by their unlimited mimosas and sangria. The mimosas were refreshingly light, bubbles dancing playfully on the palate, while the sangria was infused with seasonal fruits, creating a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity that paired beautifully with the flavors of the brunch.

As delightful as the food was, the overall atmosphere truly enhanced the experience. The crowd was a delightful mix of families, friends, and couples, everyone sharing in the joyous conviviality of the occasion. Lively conversations blended with the vibrant melodies of carefully curated music, creating an upbeat and festive vibe that coaxed laughter and cheer from every corner of the room. It was a place where you could feel the energy, where each clinking glass proposed a toast to the good life.

And let's not forget the pièce de résistance: dessert. The selection was an assortment of divine offerings, Each sweet indulgence was the perfect way to finish the meal, leaving a lingering sweetness that matched the experience as a whole.

In conclusion, the Sunday buffet brunch at Lobster Steakhouse is not just another meal; it’s a culinary celebration that envelops you in a community of flavor, fun, and friendship. It’s undoubtedly a good place to go, whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a well-deserved treat after a long week. With its superb food, lively atmosphere, and exceptional service, this brunch experience is one not to be missed. I am already counting down the days until I can return.

My order was supposed to be the lobster tail, steak and shrimps. I ordered to take out. I got home in the Poconos and realized they gave me a whole lobster. No problem. I started eating the shrimps they were ok. I went to eat the lobster, it was spoiled. The steak was tough. I called to make a complaint. Edward told me to come in, and he will replace it with another plate. I didn't get back to NY until 3 days. I brought back the entire meal to show I haven't really eaten out the meal. Edward wasn't there, and the waitress tried to tell me it's been 3 days they weren't going to replace my meal. It was hard because they hardly spoke English. I had to go back and forth, until I was told they will replace the meal. They didn't have any lobsters or tails at 1 PM in the afternoon. How are you going to name your business Lobster and Steak House and you don't have any lobsters or tails?. Smh. I just replaced it with the salmon. The food still wasn't good at all. I just called it a lost and never returned there again. If you want real seafood, I advise you to go to...

Wow! I believe this place just opened. Be sure to stop by because you will enjoy quality food in an unsuspecting little place in this corner of the world.

The service is pleasant. Although one blip...it took a while to get our water. However the plantains at the start of the meal calmed this hungry bear! Eat them quickly because when they get cold, they are not as tasty.

The positive here is the quality of the seafood. My partner ordered the lobster; she didn't finish the second tail—it was too much. It came with vegetables, steamed carrots and broccoli which were seasoned well.

I had the seafood salad. Even though it says ensalada de mariscos, just know you will receive green salad along with it on the side. The seafood salad has clams, oysters, octopus, calamari, and quality shrimp in a lemony sauce. All I have to say is yes!

Overall, this place is a hit. If there is more cost-effective quality seafood around, please drop the names!

Although the waiter brought the water a little late, he rebounded with amazing service for the rest of the...

My friend and I decided to go out last minute on a Friday night. We ended up a Lobster Steak House. As soon as we got there we were a bit thrown off by the loud karaoke. We over came the noise and ended up staying. We ordered the lobster tail, churrasco & shrimp combo, side of fried plantains and small rice. Unfortunately, nothing on the plate had a pleasant taste. The lobster was very rubbery, the steak for the cost was a little portion and the shrimp was bland. The rice was also bland and hard. The best was the fried plantains and the Modelo beer..lol! The staff was very nice and the manager the best! They reduced the cost after I notified them, my friend and I did not enjoy our meal. We paid half of the $54 cost of the meal. For a lobster and steak place, they need to live up to the name. I love churrasco and my friend loves lobster, we were disappointed that this is not a place we will be going back to eat. We will go back for a drink and their happy hour specials, but not for the food. Thank you to our server and manager, they were very understanding!
