Total Beauty Supply — Local services in New York

I had to post this review, because this WAS my neighborhood store. I went in like I do every Friday after work. I love the selection and just to get out of the house from working from home all day. Again I come in every week, and just shocked. So first I will set the scene. The young lady in front of me used her card, no ID needed, the transaction right beside used a card no ID needed. I give her my card she holds the card flips it and ask for ID. The transaction is for 18.37 but I will point out that I am black and this is my metal visa credit card. I told her and the guy that sees me every week that they have never checked my ID. I told her that's some racist stuff. If it wasn't racist please explain to me why the 2 people mentioned above didn't have to show there ID. I will miss this store greatly, I'm not going back after that. But they still have...

It’s one of my go to beauty supply stores in the neighborhood but the only two things that I dislike is 1. Some merchandise is over priced compare to other beauty supply stores in the area. Being followed around the store, It becomes annoying after a few seconds cause your there looking at something and comparing products and you see the workers at the end of the aisle watching you like your gonna steal...

They got a lot of good product’s but I can’t have someone following me every aisle I went to I see the workers down the aisle watching me I felt so uncomfortable I mean take the bags when people walk in cause it’s bad to be watched like if you’re gonna steal I left didn’t buy anything...
