ordered and chose the dine in option. they give you those big numbers and tell you to choose wherever you want to sit. proceeded to wait 15 minutes before i decided to check in with the five employees chatting and texting. this is not my first time at luke’s. the food is practically ready made. got two trios, one of each soup & 2 blueberry sodas. not complicated. they told me the printer wasn’t working and it’d be ready in 5. sure. a printer doesn’t work but the cashier can’t inform the “cooks”? they can’t look around and see there are diners at the table waiting? all good. they come over a bring me a random clam chowder on the house. I already paid for a clam chowder. just give me what i ordered. the guy ironically says “i hope this doesn’t sway you to not dine here again” as he slides over the soup. few more minutes pass and my actual order arrives. dude that brings it to us doesn’t apologize for the wait time. then the first guy that gave us the soup swings by to check on us and proceeds to knock over the ENTIRE table that has the open blueberry soda on it which spills all over my coat and the bench. what is wrong with y’all? the silly manager comes over and offers me a free drink to replace the spilled one. now, my dear how is that going to remove the STICKY BLUEBERRY soda already on my coat. they have no remorse. have no idea how to recover a major customer service situation. they owe me however much my dry cleaning bill will turn out to be. i am absolutely livid. this entire team needs to...

If you’re looking for a spot with a fantastic atmosphere, quality drinks, and genuinely welcoming staff, this is absolutely the place to go. I work just a few blocks from Grand Central, and every now and then, I like to unwind here before catching my train home. It’s become a little personal haven where I can decompress, sip a well-crafted drink, and enjoy the vibe.

Last night was one of those evenings where I missed my train and figured I’d make the best of it by stopping in for a quick drink. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by the manager, Paul, and the bartender, Onice. They both made me feel instantly at ease, even though it was getting close to closing time. Paul kindly let me know they were winding down for the night but that I was more than welcome to stay as long as I liked. That small gesture meant a lot—it’s the kind of hospitality that makes you want to keep coming back.

I ordered an Old Fashioned made with Maker’s Mark, and Onice prepared it with real care. You could tell it wasn’t rushed—balanced, smooth, and full of flavor, just how it should be. Even in a short visit, I felt taken care of and appreciated as a customer.

Places like this are rare—where the staff actually remember you, where the drinks are consistently good, and where the atmosphere makes you want to linger just a little longer. I’ll definitely be back soon, whether it’s for a quick stop before my train or to meet friends for a proper night out. Highly...

I decided to stop by Lukes and get me a lobster roll from albert and a strawberry drink with Mia and i have not one negative thing to say, Mia gave me a strawberry drink that was on point with some sweet strawberries 😋 and she made sure i was satisfied by waiting for me to taste it and i was beyond satisfied with her services and Albert was also beyond kind by making sure i got what i payed for my 6 ounces of lobster, he showed me on the scale and the little sprinkles of seasoning was too adorable, i haven't travelled in train for 20 tests and today was the first time i ever took the Metro and i will definitely stop by again just to be sure to get another drink by Mia and Lobster roll by Albert...... I am on my way home on a Happy Friday Thanks to Albert and Mia and Lukes for having Awesome workers😁 and I'm not one to write reviews❤ I hope to see you guys...
