This place is consistent but I sometimes feel like the staff could just be more experienced or trained better overall. I do think they're all really sweet and well intentioned employees though and they want to do well; but for example, 3 people at a table usually means 3 settings and 3 menus. We ended up getting our own setting after food had already been served. It's a small thing overall, but it can add up, I'm sure; especially if they're busy. The atmosphere gets a three because of this place isn't busy, it's a very large sort of empty feeling establishment. Long empty tables, etc. Then again, I choose a Sunday night so what exactly was I expecting. The place is clean. The popcorn they offer the tables is a nice touch but SO salty and (possibly because it's dinner when I went) maybe less than freshly popped. You really should come for the wings which are delicious, crispy, and perfectly cooked every time. If you think of this place as a sports bar, I think you're on the right track. Pretty good beer selection. I think a bartender with better cocktail offerings could really breathe life into this place, but that's just me. All gender restrooms are a plus. All in all, if you want the wings, you're coming regardless and it's a good time.

This spot is an amazing vibe on Austin St. I stumbled upon it with a friend of mine and I was not disappointed. They serve you a bowl of yummy complimentary popcorn while you wait for your food, how cute! I have to say the BURST of flavors are devine. I got the Crispy chicken bowl - the Korean noodles were incredible. The mix of guacamole and bbq had me nervous at first, but once I took a bite it was actually really good. I love how creative the food is there. We also got the kimchi fries which I forgot to take a photo off because we literally stuffed our faces as soon as it came out. It was FIRE! It def has a kick so warning if you don’t like spicy. They have excellent kids options as well, my daughter loved their chicken bowl. I can’t wait to come back to Forest Hills and eat here again!

If I could give zero stars to this place, I would.

Was seated immediately due to the fact that it was slow but we were completely ignored by the staff until I stood up to request a manager after we had been sitting for 20 minutes. A male waiter attended to a gentleman to our right that was seated after us and even brought drinks to the table, visiting the table next to us a total of 3 times. The same male waiter gave the table to our right the check and help cleared the table. During these 4 encounters we were completely overlooked.

The manager gave a cop-out excuse about there being a shift change and the staff shares tables but nobody even looked our way to see if we were ready to order.

Don’t waste your time and money here

Edit: after seeing the owner’s response, I made the right choice to get up and leave. We did wait to be seated by a young lady behind the bar as there is a sign stating that fact when you walk in.

The manager never offered anything to us specifically to correct the matter. All she stated was that she would give us anything to correct the matter, which is a cop out and automated response. Didn’t even offer to take our order on the spot and have the kitchen expedite it. We weren’t looking for a free meal, we were looking to be attended to, as one usually wants to when they dine in a restaurant.

The fact that the owner thinks that a cop out excuse is valid, and wants to find blame in patrons who are willing to spend money at their establishment is disgusting.

Past reviews from this location state the same issue with staff which means they are obviously not working on improving their staff since ignoring patrons have been happening for months.

You are better off dining at MFC Flushing, their service...

We decided to try MFC vegetarian chicken options, since we were giving up meat for lent . After driving all the way to Forest Hills and circling the street for a parking spot, we finally make it to the restaurant. The restaurant decor, I would describe as cold not inviting in the least, top that with loud obnoxious music. I hoped the food would make up for that. Now, mad for chicken has many meat options but unfortunately only two vegetarian chicken choices. I placed my order with the waiter, one vegetarian chicken bowl please with a side order of kimchi and a beer. Unfortunately after ten minutes and some terrible curry popcorn that was brought to the table, another staff member approached to tell me that they did not have any vegetarian chicken and that I would have to change my order. When I asked, "well what else do you have that's vegetarian " , she pointed to the salad page of the menu with a giggle. Guys that was not going to cut it, I had veg chicken on the brain and just a salad was my cue to get up and leave. So... if your interested in having Mad For Chicken vegetarian chicken I suggest you call ahead and find out if they have any before you go out...
