Madame X — Restaurant in New York

So I’ve been to Madame X a couple of times on my own. Both times have been great. The drinks aren’t watered down, the bartenders are great, the music is always a nice mix, and the crowd in general is always great. I’ve even made a few friends here before. Madame X has a lovely sultry vibe and I have enjoyed all the times I’ve been so I decided to host my birthday here!

Hosting my birthday at Madame X was an absolutely incredible experience. I was quickly contacted by the event coordinator Amy who was very upfront and clear about pricing & etc. She worked with me amazingly to answer any questions and help with planning. She worked with me on my requests to send an itemized list of what we would be paying for and all prior discussed agreements and she did so for my comfort! She explained how we had control over the volume of the music for if we wanted a more bar experience or more of a dancing vibe to it.

The area we picked is the Atrium (located on the second floor), which is absolutely beautiful and a great place to host. We had easy access to our own private bathroom for our group and a bar. The bar even had a water dispenser which was such a great touch to make sure everyone is hydrated. The music that night was incredible, my whole group had an amazing time. Leading up the event Amy said she would mention our genre preferences to the dj so that he could play those and he definitely did! We were able to adjust the volume to our liking just by speaking with the staff. By being able to adjust the volume we were able to use part of the space as a more chill conversation pit and another area for dancing, so it gave our group the best of both worlds! The staff were attentive and the drinks were great.

Overall it was a smooth experience planning and getting information and a great night the day of our event. Pricing was very fair and reasonable. I highly recommend hosting a party/get together here and I definitely will consider doing it again...

My best friend is getting married this month, and we needed a space for our pre-wedding bridal shower. i stumbled upon MadameX on peerspace- and I'm so happy I did! It had the perfect ambiance and we all had the absolute best time at our Harry Potter Themed Bachelorette! The Bride was absolutely blown away by the space, as were all of our invitees. Alex made booking so seamless, and even connected me with amazing caterers and answered all of my annoying questions leading up to the big day. She was so helpful, so amazing, and made planning this party so stress-free. She even came up to check on us during the event to make sure we were having fun, and was so helpful with working with us for set-up/tear down and for any unique needs we had. I love the vibe of the place, and I love that it's owned by fierce and amazing women! The bartender for our event was also a dream, I asked her to make sure the Bride had a drink in her hand the entire time and she accepted the mission, and was a whole vibe- dancing and giving great energy at the bar. The drinks were nice and strong, too. All of the guests loved her and everyone had so much fun in the space. We had a huge age variety too, invited quite a few co-workers and some of the Bride's family, so our attendees were a mixture of ages 21-75 lol and there was a place to relax and quietly enjoy snacks and cocktails for our older crew, plus a dance floor for the more rambunctious in the group. Perfect space for a big diverse group of people for sure. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone, it's even more stunning in-person than the pics- and Alex and the rest of the team are absolutely phenomenal. Worth every penny spent, and def want to come back and support them on their regular...
