MAKI — Restaurant in New York

A great addition to the neighborhood. I've been there twice in a few days. First went on the weekend and ordered a gyudon and spicy salmon bowl. Both very delicious with good portions.

Second time was on a weekday and took advantage of their BOGO Free offer. Bought two Sushi Deluxe (5 nigiri-fish over rice), Eel Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll. All very delicious. I really thought all sushi outside of Japan tasted the same but today I stand corrected; this place is incredible. I've never had such good sushi from a fridge before! I will definitely go back and try the hot food next time. 5 stars for every single thing ordered : eel avocado rolls, sushi deluxe and strawberry matcha milk. I absolutely love Maki Cafe by Columbia University! My favorite is definitely the matcha latte—it’s soooooo good! I appreciate their commitment to quality, especially their collaboration with Nippon Cha, known as the best matcha company in the market. It truly shows in their premium matcha drinks, which are absolutely delicious!

I also highly recommend the Gyudon; it’s incredibly tasty. I could eat here every day! I can’t wait to come back and try more items...
