Mamas pizza — Restaurant in New York

We ended up eating here most nights when we were on holiday in New York simply because of the amazing staff and great variety of food.

We actively sought out another popular place as our kids saw it in a movie, and we were really disappointed. The pizza was cold and brick hard and just utterly disgusting. We thought all the pizza/ food places would be the same. Mamas, thankfully, was completely different.

First, I wish to thank the staff who were amazing. Very friendly and welcoming and only too happy to help.

The food is incredible. Like everywhere else, pizza is reheated when you order, but Mamas manages to keep the food tasting wonderful. A fantastic selection of pizza is available.

They also do a huge range of fresh food too. Everything is on display and looks as good as it tastes. Simply tell staff what you want and they prepare it to order.

From salads to burgers, the choice is endless. There is ample seating, and the atmosphere is fairly good. It's certainly a hit with families as we saw plenty of large families enjoying themselves at Mamas.

A great selection of drinks is also available, as is ice creams. Don't forget to also leave room for some delicious cakes or cookies too.

Prices are very reasonable. Food is very good. Staff are amazing. Downside: No public toilets available but this is true of most places in NY.

Avoid at All Costs: Disappointing Pizza and Disturbing Atmosphere - I recently visited this pizzeria, hoping for a decent meal, but what I experienced was enough to ensure I’ll never return—and neither should you. The trouble began when I asked how fresh the pizza was. The staff assured me it had just been made, but the truth was glaringly obvious: this pizza had been sitting out for quite some time. Not only was this behavior disruptive and unsettling, but the staff completely ignored the situation. They made no attempt to address the issue, leaving paying customers to endure the hostility without any reassurance or action. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mama's Pizza in NYC at the end of June, and it was an amazing experience! The bakery items are absolutely delightful, with every bite bursting with flavor and freshness. The variety offered caters to all tastes, and the quality is simply top-notch.
