OK, I feel like the other reviews here might be fake. The massage itself was pretty good so if this review was just based on the skill of the masseuses I would give this place 4 stars. It's 2 stars because the facilities are pretty terrible. How terrible? I'll describe it so you can be well informed and decide for yourself.
It's really small, and there's a basement that terrified me (more about that in a bit) when you come in there's a desk and 2 armchairs. These are the only 2 armchairs for footmassage in the place. Right next to the desk are 2? small massage rooms separated by curtains. There is also a stairs going down to a scary basement. When I went, the stairs were unlit so I actually walked down an dark staircase to a basement I couldn't see. It was so dark I couldn't actually see the bottom of the stairs at all until the light was turned on when I got to to the bottom. The basement itself looks like a rough unfinished basement with exposed piping. It was not clean. There were two massage beds in a dark corner, the beds were thin and stained. The cloth covering one of the beds was wet with some kind of liquid. The liquid was the last straw for me, Im not lying down on that. I apologized a lot and went back upstairs. Was going to leave but felt bad (I had an appointment to do a 1 hour massage and felt I had wasted their time) so ended up getting a foot massage at the chairs near the entrance. Again, the massage itself was good. There was no footbath or anything though. Just a massage with oil. Feel bad for the staff because the guy who massaged me was good, but the space they're working in is really unfit for a massage place. I...
Read moreUpdate April 2025: Went back and wow, your massage really depends on who you get. We requested the same 2 people we worked with below, but didn't get either (made reservations online). My massage therapist asked if I wanted strong, but was not deep massage - she took calls and left to to greet customers during my session, and gave me an incredibly inconsistent massage - for example, worked on my right calf, then left the room (one of 4 times during 90 minutes), came back, and never did the left calf (I thought she was maybe changing things up). Did not feel customized to my requests - felt like she had a routine that she'd do no matter where you asked her to focus. Also, no pillow at feet to relieve pressure on your back this time (I asked, but she wasn't clear what I wanted). Still not terrible, but definitely not 5 star. We tipped 20% and she also seemed disappointed with that when clarifying our $18 tip on a $90 massage.
Great massages. They pack a lot into 60 minutes. Both my wife and I got the $55 special price for 60 min but tipped big as it was really and good worth more. This is just a few blocks from Times Square, so we didn’t need to go to Chinatown to get a good...
Read moreVery disappointed, I saw the raving reviews so I came here expecting a really great massage. Everything that happened was the exact opposite.
We had called for an appointment at 6pm. The massage was 20 minutes later than the agreed upon time. We had to wait for previous customers to finish.
Now, the actual massage. I had a 60 minute foot reflexology. I had a woman, she seemed to be the owner or something because she kept leaving the massage to answer the door and also talk to other employees. My massage was interrupted at least 5 times, it was really annoying. The pressure was horrible, I didn’t feel a thing. It was more like a soft surface rub than reflexology. She was also on her phone most of the time. Her phone kept ringing and she would answer it with one hand, completely distracted and not paying attention to the massage.
I kept looking at my watch because this was the only time I wanted a massage to be over. I was uncomfortably hot, getting gently touched with oil by a woman who was constantly on her...
