Mars deli woodside — Restaurant in New York

I usually go here around noon but tonight (around 7) I went for a sub and chips and waited 12 minutes for either of the two men at the counter to ACKNOWLEDGE me. Apparently customers playing lotto are a priority. The only reason I give this place 3 stars is because morning staff is usually phenomenal and when one of the gentlemen came over to assist he was very genuine in customer care. Although he started making my sandwich with ONE gloved hand, (and yes I saw the un-gloved hand touch the ingredients at some point😩)but he quickly put on a second when he saw me watching👀👀 AND re-made my sandwich. The new girl who makes sandwiches at night is an absolute horror show. She doesn’t understand hygiene or what anyone is ordering. There was a line for hours because she couldn’t even understand how to make a sandwich right. On top of that she started laughing with an attitude as if the customers were wrong. This deli needs a new person for the stove at night. The new guy in the front at night is great, but the girl needs to go. I saw customers leave because of her. So...

Disgusted with the food, interior and manners. The food is always stale or smells off. Tried a sandwich once and felt sick for days. Do not waste your money, everything from the food to the floors are greasy and unclean. The "managers" are condescending and do not try to help or admit when they're wrong. I do not leave reviews often, but if negative stars were possible I'd give the lowest possible...
