I've been to this mcd's before, before or after lunch hrs. And they r attentive, clean and organized. Except during certain high traffic hrs, then they all look like chickens without heads running around trying to figure out people's orders. You would think a mcd's across the st from a hospital, would be better prepared to handle large amounts of orders.... but you would be wrong. Instead not only were they all over the place trying to keep up, but those preparing food were messy, as in they kept their food prep area dirty, unorganized and messy. Example, I ordered a double cheeseburger that ended up with a large smudge of tartar sauce on one side of the burger. Already had to wait tons for them to give me my drink, because like I mentioned, they were unorganized. Forgot to give me my drink, then gave me someone else's. Got distracted by another customer's dilemma, only to leave that person with doubt in their faces, as they again got distracted by another problem with another customer. 😒 The absolute worst. I didnt even bother going back to have my order fixed. Just not worth the headache.
Other than that fiasco. Free parking is available, there is a drive thru, and its across the street from Albert Einstein hospital. Walking distance from Jacobi hospital and Calvary hospital. There is outside seating, tho indoor seating is still not available. Bx21 and 31 stop near by, there is a car wash next door. So you can eat while your car gets...
Read moreWARNING !! This has always been my go to mcdonalds since I was little and I never had a bad scary experience until about an hour ago around like 6:15 pm. As I am sure, everyone is aware of the amount of homeless people that are inside and around. About an hour ago, I went through the drive thru, and by the entrance to go inside in the parking lot, there's this homeless person waiting inside watching the cars. As I drive past by, this person notices me and immediately walks out. As I arrive to the speaker waiting for a code to use with my window down, he right away covers my entire window so I won't try to roll it up. He asked if I had money, food, and cigarettes, of course I said no that's all I said, and I did not make any eye contact with this person. Than he proceeds to stare and say mhm you're so skinny, and right away something told me to immediately to drive off. I drove off to go to the window, I notice him behind my car and hits the back of my car with his hand. And I did not say anything to him for him to back up or cursed him out because I did not want to make it worse and get him angry where he could've done something to hurt me. So, I roll up to the window my hands was very shaky and so was my voice. And the drive thru worker saw everything that happened and was very very kind and nice to ask if I was okay and he apologized for...
Read moreToday was the second time I've encountered a problem with the same Manager at this location. This morning around 7:50 am Ms. Rivera(Manager) handed me my coffee through the drive-thru window, and I noticed the top on the cup was not secure. I mentioned it to Ms. Rivera prior to taking the coffee, because several weeks ago I got burned taking a cup of coffee through the drive-thru window, when the top came off, burning my leg. I spoke with Ms. Rivera at that encounter and found her to be unhelpful, dismissive and unconcerned regarding the burn I'd received. This morning, after mentioning the loose coffee top, she proceeded to secure the top with an obvious attitude of annoyance, and then she stormed off. I made a complaint about the first incident, but it is clear that this woman has not learned from her mistakes. I am a woman who has served in a professional career for over 30 years, and it is my opinion that Ms. Rivera does not belong in the customer service industry. I would hope that the General Manager will consider this statement. I am certain I am not the first person to have had an issue...
