The first problem I had was the wait time. There wasn't that many cars in front of me but it moved so slow. The second was it was dark. When I drove up to the pay window it was so dark I couldn't see anyone so I drove up to the the service window and my son said mom I see someone in the pay window so I look back and see the person with his back to the window but I couldn't back up cause there was a car behind me. So I proceeded to drive to the service window that was also dark but not as dark as the pay window. The car behind me also drove passed it. The third problem was driving up to the service window and waiting almost 10 minutes. Finally one of the employee comes to the window and gives me my drinks and then the food and I had my credit card in my hands ready to pay and the employee kept turning his head away from me and was looking at the screen and he did this 2 times and then confirms the order and I said correct and then he say wait a minute and shuts the window and goes and gets someone who im assuming was the manager and he's talking to him and then the employee opens the window and I hear employee say I don't know what to say, so the manager steps to the window and confirms my order and I said yes that's my order what's going on? The manager then asked did you pay for your order? I said no and then he looks at the screen and yells to the person in the pay window and says what are you doing all the cars are passing by and not seeing you as he walks to him with my card. Then the manager came back and gave me my card and receipt. The fourth problem is I received no apology and absolutely no courtesy. They made me feel like I was stealing the food cause an employee wasn't doing his job! What a mess!...
Read moreI was a REGULAR patron at the McDonald's on Flatbush Ave near Fillmore Ave. No exaggeration. I went there atleast 5+ times a week for approximately 3 years or more. I like raspberry ice tea and each time I went that was definitely one thing I had no hesitation ordering and the price for it was not $1 either. I would travel appropriately 10 blocks, get on the drive thru and put my order in. When I get back home, put the straw in the drink and taste it, how upsetting and disappointed. It happened so often I would hobble back to my car no matter the time or weather to take back the drink. A couple of the managers would get upset with me. You could hear it in their voices. I would tell the person it is just pale tea colored ice water. No one put in whatever was needed for it to taste like tea, raspberry and sweet. Being fedup, I asked one of the managers if she would go and taste it. Why did I do that? I was told in a nasty manner, "I'm not tasting it!". Well, 3 weeks ago I decided to try the raspberry ice tea again. NO CHANGE - except I taste it before leaving the parking lot. I pulled back up to the window and informed the worker. She asked if I wanted more sugar. I just shook my head in disbelief on how long this has been going on, ordered a Dr Pepper and went on my way. WORD FROM THE WISE - DO NOT ONLY CHECK YOUR DRINK BUT CHECK YOUR ORDER AS WELL...
Read moreIs it McDonald’s policy to allow homeless people inside to stand near the register and beg patrons for money? Today I was solo a woman with 3 year old child who visited the McDonalds at 2240 Flatbush ave in Brooklyn. I was approached by the same homeless babbling individual not 1, not 2 but 3 separate times. After not getting the 5 dollars he asked for initially, he approached my son and I again at the counter and proceeded to cough all over my toddler, myself and our food. I took my son to the farthest point from him in the restaurant so he could enjoy his happy meal only to be followed over a few minutes later and asked again for money while hovering over the two of us. After being denied again he proceeded to cough all over us and trash talk is at the restaurant. This interaction was witnessed by an employee sitting on break a few tables away. This man then went back to his post blocking all walkways and begging every patron for cash. I have never felt so unsafe in my whole life. I was fearful for my safety and that of my 3 year old son. This is not the first time I have seen homeless beggars inside this restaurant. I have been harassed before and frankly am disgusted that management allows this to occur. I now have to worry for our health during these times of Covid. I have never been more displeased with a restaurant in...
