At one point I was quite hesitant when it comes to me reviewing this restaurant in particular. But then I said "I'm sick and tired of me seeing this so let me just give it a review let me tell you what I think about the fast food restaurant and the atmosphere."
First and foremost the food is pretty good not the greatest it's not a five-star it can be better and in fact they should be better. But then again it's McDonald so it's one of those popular restaurants that everybody goes to every single day because it's open 24/7. The food that I get is typically large french fries 20 piece McNugget medium sized Sprite and if I'm up to it cookies. Because their cookies are the best thing that I have ever tasted when it comes to a fast food restaurant. Now being that this is the McDonald's that's in Bartow, it has a lot of problems. Problems that still up to this very day have not been solved. So I'm going to be talking about those problems and hopefully someone cares enough to read this and solve it.
The customer service is poor, it is so poor to the point at times when you do walk in the line is freakishly long. You see about three to four monitors that's online but yet not one person is behind each of those monitors. There's only one person 2 at most if you're lucky enough that is behind those monitors. Upon my experience when I order something, they have nasty attitudes it's an I don't care attitude it's a me first attitude. It's either the customers that has the nastiest attitude or it's the people behind the counters the workers that has the nastiest attitudes. And I feel as a worker you are trained to handle things accordingly not adding more oil to the flame. Furthermore, they should also uphold the policy that the customer is always right even though at times the customer is not always right.
And not to sound so sexist, but it always seemed to me that it's the women that's behind the counter that does not know how to act and it's always them that's being so loud with their mouth and just don't know how to shut it for once. There was this one time when I walked into McDonald's after I ordered something, they was being so rude to their co-workers and it looks like one of the co-workers was on their first day didn't know how to do much and yet they was giving that poor young man a hard time. They do not know how to act professionally it's only a few of them that actually takes their role of their job and their responsibilities seriously. No wonder why a lot of people today refuse to work at a fast food restaurant place such as McDonald's especially the one over here on Bartow. They may not care now but in the future looking back at it, it's embarrassing to see and it's embarrassing of how others talk so low about the people behind McDonald's the people that works in McDonald's that is.
Another thing that they may or may not be able to get under control: The kids (students from school such as Truman and/or the students from middle school) that runs around McDonald's and starts fights in front of the restaurant. I feel like they should increase the security in that restaurant. It's quite shameful that we are even in this predicament to where you would even have to consider of hiring a security in McDonald's. I see one security guard that's inside of McDonald's but one is not good enough, that man is not a one-man Army. The list of problems are endless but that still doesn't distract me from ordering my food and minding my own business but I do definitely observe since that is one responsibility of a customer aside from ordering their food.
I am giving this restaurant a five star rating out of pity. They need to do better. Yes it's true that they have their good old days, they have good days they have bad days and that's something that I 100% understands but that still doesn't justify how bad McDonald looks not physically of course but just look at the workers!! Ultimately, there food is okay, the place is...
Read moreI always think of the food prep strategy games I play on my phone when I visit this location. The team works really hard but their strategy for efficiently fulfilling orders sometimes seems flawed. One person in the chain messing up effects everything down the line.
I went there the other day and the team was having a problem with giving customers in the drive thru each item they ordered. One staff member was not putting a label in the right place, so the rest of the team was not giving guests everything they ordered. I watched three different guests enter the store to say they did not get everything they ordered. I should have not been there that long to see this since I ordered ahead. Unfortunately, my order took more time than necessary (in my opinion). I think the staff gets very flustered when the store gets busy. I am not sure if they would win at those food prep strategy games.
The food is fine outside of timing issues. I kind of prefer the Connor Street location because the food tastes fresher for some reason.
Anyone would be fine visiting this location. Just expect to maybe wait longer...
Read moreI was here and was overcharged... it seems the manager doesnt know how to do the math either. It was a difference of cents... But it's the principle of stealing from a paying customer. I had to show her how she was wrong, she told the cashier to give me my refund and walked away. by the time I got my food, it was cold and my burger had an orange spicy sauce... I could not eat it. I was so pissed off I waited for my girlfriend to finish her cold mean and we left. I understand people make mistakes and they are busy too.. This is actually a managerial problem. The person who made the schedule probably dropped the ball. This shift was set up for failure. I visited on october 12th around 3:29... The cashier seemed new to the job, If this is the case, why put her on for a busy shift???? who ever made the schedule was thinking about something else, clearly not about any business concern. Do not visit this location. Also One other thing I noticed, This location is right off I95, I think they give the drive through customers preference over Dine-In customers. This is a shame, I should have not parked and...
