This is a bright and cheerful breakfast place. You know their food is fresh because call the early morning working people are coming here to get their breakfast and lunch items-- it's surrounded by police, fdny and industrial spaces, so it's filled with workers who want good food at good prices.
The mangu is delicious, I can do mangu with egg and onion, sometimes cheese, while I'm sure the tres golpes is amazing I just cannot manage salami fried in addition to the rest.
The sandwich they whipped up for me is pictured here, my "egg alternative" breakfast sandwich is cheese on a roll with the marinated onions. It was perfect.

Read moreWent there for the first time yesterday and I ordered the Cuban Panini. It was fantastic! Hot, moist and juicy. The pork was so tasty, the pickle gave it some great crunch and the bread was excellent. The ladies there are very proud of what they cooked. When we got there, one of the ladies took the time to show us everything that was just cooked in the steam buffet. My buddy, got the Italian sub and he also loved it.
