Melt Shop — Restaurant in New York

If I could give zero stars, I would. Absolutely horrible customer service. No accountability whatsoever. The first time my son placed an order with them for delivery, they forgot to include the burger- this was 1/3 of the meal. Also the first item in the order but somehow it was missed and somehow it was Uber eats fault. Then when we called to get a refund, they said they would issue it and never did. Now I have to go out of my way to go to the restaurant to get my money for food I never received because the staff is incompetent and doesn’t know how to issue a refund to a credit card. only come to the Melt Shop at the Staten Island Mall because of the employees they are always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The staff really goes above and beyond to make you feel like a valued customer, and that’s the main reason I stop by.

As for the food, it’s honestly pretty average and overpriced for what you get. The flavors and portions don’t quite live up to the cost, so it’s not somewhere I’d recommend if you’re going purely for the food. But the team behind the counter makes the experience much better than it would be otherwise.

Their beyond burger was great would get it again, the only annoying thing is they ran out of ketchup. The decent thing to do is to mention that when people are ordering fries or tater tots. I only found out once I went to the pickup and saw the no ketchup sign. Thought oh maybe I need to ask and they don't keep it out, went to the guy who I ordered from and he was like oh...
