A Delightful Taiwanese Breakfast Spot!

Stepping into this restaurant, I was immediately struck by how bright and comfortable it is. The air conditioning was perfectly strong – a welcome relief on a warm day – and the Wi-Fi was a great bonus. You can really tell that the owner pours her heart into this place; every detail feels thoughtfully managed.

I was most excited to try the Taiwanese-style breakfast, and it did not disappoint! The center of the 美而美三明治 was absolutely delicious (I like bacon one), though I found the edges a little dry. Overall, I was very satisfied with it.

The peanut tofu pudding was a highlight! It had crushed ice mixed in, giving it a wonderfully creamy, melt-in-your-mouth texture. It wasn't overly sweet, and the portion was quite generous.

I'm really looking forward to when they introduce 台式飯糰 to the menu. And if I could make one wish, it would be for a 大冰奶 to go along with these amazing...

Strolling on Bell Blvd and found this hidden gem. We heard the cafe is an expanding business from noodle house at the same plaza. The cafe also carries the same type of self served concept, but all price already includes tax, and tip is optional. We tried 3 different kinds of Taiwanese shaved ice. It really WOWED us when we saw it. Full of the best Taiwanese sweets such as red beans, taro balls, bubbles, taro and grass jelly and more. Everything is yummy. For $14.75, it is a steal because it is so huge bowl to share with at least 2 people and you save the flight ticket to Taiwan for this traditional dessert. Their extensive menu includes not only coffee/ tea as well as panini and waffles, even ice cream. Definitely we will go back to try...

I stopped by this new café in the neighborhood for breakfast and I’m so glad I did. The space is bright and inviting, with sunlight pouring in and even a quiet little area in the back that feels perfect for studying or reading.

I ordered the Micco breakfast (asked for it with no meat since I’m vegetarian) and a decaf iced brown sugar shaken espresso with oat milk. Both were delicious, and I really appreciated how the staff double-checked my order when it came out, which I really appreciated.

I ended up staying for over an hour, sipping my drink and listening to my audiobook, and it was exactly the kind of cozy, welcoming vibe I’ve been craving. Excited to make this a regular spot especially when the seasonal...

i saw someone on TikTok recommend this spot in Bayside for their Taiwanese dan bing which i am sooo thankful for bc it’s so hard to find dan bing in NYC, and it was actually SOOOO good!!! it was soft, chewy, and flavorful and super fresh, and i would come back just to get it again!!! HOWEVER, i was not super impressed with anything else we ordered 😔 the coconut latte literally tasted like hot wet socks and that’s probably completely my fault bc i ordered a hot one instead of an iced one and i don’t think coconut milk should ever be hot bc it was soooo nasty 🤣 the coffee flavor was good though but i literally couldn’t drink it bc of the wet sock flavor HAHA. my bf ordered the matcha thai tea and i literally thought i was drinking a cup of sugar so i hated it BUT my bf LOVED it (he has a huge sweet tooth so if you do too you’d prob like it but i don’t like overly sweet drinks and this was very very overly sweet 🥲). the chili oil fried egg avocado toast tasted mostly lemony and spicy from the chili oil but lacked other flavor and the avo was mashed way too much for my liking (the bread was good though!), and the micco breakfast plate was quite decent (the potatoes were perfectly done, the eggs were soft and fluffy, and the sausage was good if you like smoked sausage) but both the avo toast and the brekkie platter were quite expensive for what it was imo ($12 for 1 piece of avo toast and ~$17-18 for the brekkie plate). overall i would 10000% come back just to order their dan bing again bc it was rly rly good, and probably try their other items on their menu next time in hopes it’ll be better than the other dishes and drinks we ordered 😅 my bf thought everything was good though so pls take this review w. a grain of salt haha📍Micco Cafe, Queens, NY #miccocafe #nyceats #brunch #taiwanesedanbing #queenseats
