1st time visiting here, I figured I will give this place a try.
We ordered two PHO soups and an order of spring roll appetizers. You'd think the appetizer would come out 1st? No!, the 1st soup came out which was the Beef flank soup...I couldnt start eating while we waited for my gf's soup to come out. And where was the appetizer? The ONE soup was just laying on our table, but no point of eating yet. What was the point of bringing only 1 soup out? After a wait the 2nd PHO soup comes out which was the pork PHO soup and we can finally eat together. I asked the waitress doesnt the appetizer come out 1st, she says no not all the time, something like that? say what??....Mid way after eating our soup the spring rolls come out..What do we eat first before they all get cold??
I dont get how they operate here, I dont like it. How everything comes out one by one...the right way is for the appetizers to come out 1st, THEN both soups AT THE SAME TIME.
All the food was good and delicious but I dont like the way they do things here. They need to...
Read moreAs maybe a Korean restaurant I think they would be really good but they advertise as Vietnamese, even the name. That was the most horrible fake Pho I ever had (I'm Vietnamese by the way). The soup is actually named after the noodles and the noodles are called Pho. They even used the wrong noodles. They used bun (pronounced boon) which are the skinny rice Vercelli noodles. Pho noodles are semi wide, traditionally handmade and it's very easy. I think they use bun because it's easily obtained from any Hmart. The broth takes at least 12 hours to make. The Pho Bo (beef pho) I ordered had only the thin Korean beef they also probably obtained from Hmart and was already cooked. The meat is supposed to be placed in the soup raw and the hot broth cooks it. none of the other ingredients like tendon, Vietnamese sausage, etc. Somebody needs to show them how to make Vietnamese food considering they are using a Viet front. They should really try to...
