The place doesn’t really look like much when you pull up it’s located On a street with a mini mall , there is parking but it’s tight so be mindful . The staff was pleasant. the inside of the restaurant looked a little busy due to boxes everywhere , Social distancing was practiced . There is no inside dining dining due to COVID and no outside dining . I ordered the 20 piece wings half and half ( spicy and soy garlic) and potstickers. The order came with a small cubed radish . The chicken was so good y’all! They were sitting in my car for a little while due to the distance but when I ate them they are still Crunchy! Fresh and the sauces were flavorful. The soy garlic sauce is a mild flavorful sauce, the spicy sauce has a deep flavor with a kick but it might be a little too spicy for people that don’t like spicy food so please take caution. This is definitely something I would try again. The potstickers were good as well they come with 8 pieces and I had them in the half and half sauces as well. They were stuffed , crunchy and full of flavor. One of the best potstickers I have tried . The radish I didn’t like that as much it had a different texture and smell that I didn’t really care for so I would pass on it but it’s free with your order so no harm there lol . Oh please Call ahead of time . The food takes about 25 mins to prepare. Happy eating !

Bonchon Bayside has a pretty good selection of food items. We visited on a Saturday evening and were seated relatively quickly. The servers were friendly. This location is not very big, however there was only one other family dining in. It seems as though they have many orders that are pick-up/take out. We ordered the drumsticks, half soy garlic half spicy, the korean bulgogi tacos, and the parmesan truffle fries. The food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely return for the food, especially the tacos. The only reason this location does not receive five stars is because the floor was VERY slippery. As someone with a disability it was a dangerous establishment. It is a hazard and an accident waiting to happen (of course, hopefully this is rectified before someone is injured). Otherwise, a great location and thank you for a wonderful experience!

A place to get drunk on beer that takes as long as your food to arrive at your table and eat mediocre fried chicken. They really should hire more than one waitress on a Monday night. It was still packed and the poor girl was probably super tired seeing the slow snail pace she was walking...or maybe she gives zero craps... Haha. It was really weird because once we went in we weren't greeted or anything...my friend just went ahead to seat herself (I think she's been there a lot to assume its just OK to sit down wherever or assumed the service just won't care). So we sat down and it took a few minutes for the waitress to give us menus.. She took our orders and then took about 10 min to even give our waters that we asked for... It was strange because during this time, there was another table that arrived with some older ladies speaking Korean. Not to assume racism here, but why were all the tables with people of Korean descent all had their waters and drinks before us? Show some love to the Chinese! Hahah.. But whatever I won't get into that...just something to think about. The chicken both flavors tasted pretty much the same, no variation even though we got a mix of flavors. Nothing to exciting if you have tried other Korean fried chickens. This is like the...

Let me start out saying that I come from Hempstead to Bayside Queens for Bonchon; a 20-25 minute drive in normal traffic, more if there's real NY traffic! Next, let me say how finicky I am about food; I don't even eat condiments like ketchup & mustard. So, when I see reviews about how this chicken is 'ok', it boggles my mind! I honestly think these people do NOT know what this chicken, Korean (BBQ) fried chicken is supposed to taste like, AND I don't even think some of these same folks know what regular fried chicken should taste like! I say all that to let folks know that this chicken is delicious! This is the closest Korean fried chicken you will get without having someone Korean cook for you...go get it; taste is consistent and even though if you walk in and have to wait 20-30 minutes for food, it's because you're getting fresh food, so call ahead like I do! Furthermore, it is a bit pricey, but you will be satisfied and...
