A plus salon — Local services in New York

Ken is ABSOLUTELY the only one I trust with my hair! I've been going to him for years and years in Flushing and I am NEVER left disappointed when leaving the salon. I now live in Brooklyn but willing to travel to wherever Ken is because he is THAT amazing so that should tell you something!!! Yesterday was my first time at the A PLUS SALON and it was definitely an A++++++ for me. The salon was just freshly painted, very clean, and spacious. It's also located conveniently by the LIRR and local buses so fairly easy to get to. The salon is also located near Bell Blvd. so you also have plenty of tasty food options to choose from afterwards. I got my usual cut, color, and treatment and I left feeling so fresh. It took almost 2 hours to have everything done so was pretty ecstatic it didn't take the whole day. I also like how Ken is very careful when he chooses the correct hair dye color for you and is very meticulous when it comes to his attention to detail when he cuts your hair. I also found out that his lovely wife also offers fabulous nail services so think I will try the UV Gel fill next time for a one stop shop. Thank you again Ken! The customer service was top notch and they were super sweet! The person who helped dye my hair was super informative about how it would come out and what would be best based on the photos I showed! They were amazing and stayed after closing hours so that I could get a perfect bleach (had dye stains from other times I did my hair dye) and even picked a color that would wash out beautifully. Took my mom to get a haircut with Ken today and, as always, he was super thoughtful and really listened to what she wanted. She left feeling great and loving her new look!
