This place is such a rare find! From the moment we walked through the entrance, the vibes were immaculate — warm, inviting, and full of character. The entire space, from the dining area to the bathroom, was thoughtfully curated and cozy.

The food? Absolutely incredible. The tempura was light, crispy, and perfectly executed. They even managed to make beetroot and shredded carrot taste divine — no small feat!

There was an impressive array of teas to choose from and a surprisingly large variety of dishes. The scallops and shrimp mochi bites were generously portioned and full of flavor.

We dined at one of only four intimate tables. With a grand piano in the corner and our host quietly locking the door after we arrived, it truly felt like we were dining in someone’s home. Such a unique, special experience — one I won’t forget...

Took my wife here for lunch, as I’ve always wanted to visit since randomly driving by it. The cool part was we had the place to ourselves, as no one else had reserved lunch at the same time. The waiter was also really nice.

The drinks (we had an infused tea, and a sake drink) were great. I’d give them a 10/10.

The food (we had the beet/cashew soup, hijiki, salmon app, beef app, shrimp app) were mostly good. The odd part was the beef and shrimp apps had a tomato sauce on them, which didn’t really work. Not bad, but just would not reorder those.

Portions were much larger than as shown in the menu. We left really full. I would definitely go back to try other options on the menu.

Overall, a special place worth trying out, especially for a special occasion (or to grab a great drink in the...

Came to Mirror tea house for a relaxing dinner experience and that was exactly what I got! My favorite part was the ambiance: very few tables, sophisticated but relaxed vibe, and soft music that made it easy to talk. The food was also delicious- my favorite were the avocado bites and the salmon entreé. The entreés are very abundant and can be shared between two people (plus a starter). The tea and the sake cocktails were fabulous. Be prepared to come with patience since there is a single server so things can take a while. That said, service was great. I know people who have walked in but I would definetly recommend you reserve before you come for dinner, luckily I was able to make one only a few hours before my meal. 10/10 experience,...

COME EXPLORE THE FERRY BUILDING IN SAN FRANCISCO WITH ME 📍@ferrybuilding [San Francisco, California] 🔖 Bookmark this post for later! 💕 #invite 📍@dandelionchocolate - My friend and I kicked off our morning with a visit to Dandelion Chocolate, where we indulged in mouth-watering samples, delightful desserts, and heavenly hot chocolate. 📍@imperialteacourt - Then, we visited the Imperial Tea Court, the first traditional Chinese teahouse in America. We had a fantastic time experiencing a traditional tea tasting and enjoying delectable dim sum. 📍@fogcityflea - Afterwards, we enjoyed some retail therapy at Fog City Flea, a beautifully curated market that features over 45 local vendors. 📍@therealtsarnicoulai - Our next stop was the Tsar Nicoulai Caviar Cafe. This cafe exceeded all of our expectations–they not only serve the most exquisite caviar, but also provide incredible service that makes you feel right at home. 📍@bookpassageferrybuilding - Last but not least, we visited Book Passage, a beloved part of the Bay Area’s literary community for over 40 years, and found a cute basket of poems there in honor of poetry month! #bayareafoodie #sfeats #foodstagram #ferrybuilding #visitsf #yelpbayarea
