During my recent visit to mo’s I had the pleasure of savoring their Hawaiian pizza with bacon, jalapeño, and pineapple, accompanied by their delightful cocktail offering, the Abuelita. Here's a detailed review of my experience:
Hawaiian Pizza: The Hawaiian pizza at mo’s provided a unique twist on the classic recipe, featuring a tantalizing combination of bacon, jalapeño, and pineapple. Despite the burnt crust, which I found to be a slight drawback, the flavors were well-balanced and enticing. The sweetness of the pineapple paired harmoniously with the savory bacon and the subtle heat from the jalapeño, resulting in a satisfying culinary experience. Despite the burnt crust, my companions and I enjoyed every last slice of this innovative pizza.
Abuelita Cocktail: The Abuelita cocktail at mo’s was a standout highlight of the evening. This exquisite concoction offered a delightful blend of flavors reminiscent of a cinnamon apple pie, with a touch of sophistication. The cocktail's presentation was impeccable, and each sip provided a comforting and indulgent sensation. With its expertly crafted combination of ingredients, the Abuelita cocktail truly deserves accolades for its unique taste and exquisite craftsmanship.
Service and Ambience: Throughout my dining experience at mo’s the service was attentive and accommodating, contributing to a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The ambience of the restaurant, although slightly dim, added to the intimate and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for a relaxed dining experience. The overall service and ambience further enhanced the enjoyment of the culinary offerings at mo’s
In conclusion, despite the minor setback of the burnt crust on the Hawaiian pizza, my dining experience at mo’s was a memorable one. The innovative flavor combinations, coupled with exceptional service and a cozy ambience, make it a destination worth revisiting. I highly recommend trying the Abuelita cocktail for a sophisticated and flavorful libation that perfectly complements the restaurant's...
Read moreWas in the search for late night post-dinner pizza and this really fulfilled that.
There are a good amount of options, which was lovely. I also appreciated that the single slice options (vs the personal pie options) are square, as I love a good square piece. We went with three: Hawaiian, white pizza, and pepperoni.
The first two we chose and were super pleased with (the third we let the cashier chose and we weren't as thrilled with). The crust, especially at the end, is substantial. The cheese is delicious. And the flavoring for the first two was excellent. We didn't love the pepperoni, as this was a bit salty.
The restaurant itself is interesting. There are some indoor/outdoor spots to sit in. However, there is a window to specifically order to go pizza which I think is a necessity for the area. Took about 10 minutes for the slices to be made and then we easily walked away, which is a nice conclusion to any night...
Read moreI've been here 4x, twice, loved the service and the food. The third time, we had a young server, he brought us the wrong pizza and left it for us since they made it - later we realized he charged us for it. Even though it was their mistake and something we didn't order. Not bad enough that I wouldn't view it as an oversight and try again.
Then we went Sat w/ a group. Was told they were out of a bunch of different things, so got some apps and two pizzas. The server came out with two add'l pizzas saying the kitchen was just using up ingredients at the end of the night and made them. AGAIN we we were charged for the extra pizzas THAT WE DIDNT ORDER and one of which was pretty burnt around the crust. Unreal. Never had that experience and...
