So, I finally got into Settepani on the day before Easter. And upon walking in... i didn't expect the experience that i had. First off I was greeted by an older gentleman who turned out to be the owner Nino who happened to be a very nice man. He was giving us some little chocolate truffle things which were really good and then a little pistachio type cookie from his home town in Italy. Then my lady and I had some coffee and a croissant... The chocolate chip cookie croissant!.... Amazing!.. seriously one of the tastiest combos I've ever had. And mind you we walked in not long before their closing time and never once were we told that they would be closing soon or anything. Just completely treated us with open arms. Then the daughter walks in and my lady and I start talking with her as well. I tell her how amazing the chocolate chip cookie croissant is and we start talking about their rainbow cookie croissant which apparently went viral on the Internet and I can understand why..... She gives us one from a batch that had just came out the oven. All I can say is the experience that we had there was way past what I figured it would be upon walking in to this little bakery in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Phenomenal!... Absolutely make this place, a to go to spot when visiting the neighborhood. Thank you to the father and daughter team of Settepani. You have another very happy New...

Read moreHa... this is called a BAKERY?! More like a jokery. I bought 5 or 6 different items and ALL were bottom tier quality, even below Shop Rite Bakery goods, tasting stale and full of preservatives. The cannoli was only capped with cream, not filled. That's right, just 2 plugs at the ends. The fruit tart was convex, as to not leave any room for cream. Like the bottom of a shampoo bottle. And the cream?? Oh the cream! You mean the one stripe of vanilla pudding ? The fruits were good, but this place had nothing to do with making those. Lol. There was also a layer cake slice, flaky, similar to a Napoleon, that I picked up by the top out of the box but it was so old and crusty that all the layers below held togather. Possibly because the layers of cream were beyond old. I will refrain from commenting on all others, because it was enough to make me never come back here again. Horrendous and huge waste of...
