I do not understand how this place has good reviews. I'm going to give details because I see they respond and refute other reviews, so I want to be completely clear about what happened in my appointment.

Do NOT believe the reviews that say this place is clean or that the experience is a positive one. First, the place is absolutely filthy. The instruments for my manicure were in the sanitized pack but it was already open and looked all wrinkled like they had just put dirty instruments back into the package. I did not see anyone open one (mine or my partner's), which is usual practice. The nail files and buffers are visibly dirty. One woman handed another woman a tool out of the drawer to scrape my polish off. The salon itself feels really dirty.

They also tried to upsell us the whole time. They kept telling me they "had time" for a pedicure if I wanted one, and when I booked the appointment over the phone they tried to pressure me into one, too. They tried to offer me a massage but I knew to ask if it cost extra (they said yes). The idea that they "had time" for a pedicure is insane, anyway, because everyone was booked the whole time and we were at this salon for TWO HOURS.

I booked an appointment with Cindy based on the reviews. When we got there, she was doing someone else's nails so I got assigned to someone else. After filing off the top coat and soaking my nails, the first person immediately tried to file off my gel polish instead of gently scraping it off. I asked them not to (because it destroys your nails) and they told me this is just "how you take off gel polish." That is not true; I've gotten gel manicures for years.

Because they had taken the acetone foils off my nails all at once, the nail polish had dried again and they had to soak my nails again. If you've ever gotten gel taken off, you know that once it's dried out it's very difficult to get off. My nails soaked for at least 45 minutes total and were peeling by the time they finally took the foil off. I take very good care of my nails and it KILLED me that this one place damaged them so much.

The manicure itself was the worst manicure I've ever gotten. It's streaky and the topcoat is not even smooth to the touch. It also took FOREVER - we were there for 2 hours total. It seemed like the nail polish bottle was empty so they were trying to make it work but the polish was sticky and clumpy and didn't go on my nails well.

They cut my partner's cuticles way too aggressively and they were all red. His manicure, however, did look pretty good. We'll see if his fingers get infected by their dirty tools!

It sounds like Cindy does good nail art and that's why people like going here. Maybe Cindy does a good job? Maybe they're good at acrylics? I can't know; I didn't get to see her and have natural nails. I would not ever come here again. It's so gross, not at all comfortable, and this whole experience was...

I used to love this salon but I am so disappointed with my last few visits, particularly the most recent one. Not only did it feel rushed, but I didn’t receive a service that was meant to be included in my package. Additionally, they charged me extra for a “design” which is fine, but they didn’t tell me it would be more prior to me paying the bill. When I brought this up, they were incredibly rude and told me it was my own fault for not asking them. As a customer, I would assume this would be communicated to me prior to being charged for this. On top of everything, the “design” they did, which was just one dot per nail, started smearing off this morning (literally less than 24 hours after I got them done). I’ve had my nails done with this design countless times at other salons and haven’t been charged extra and definitely didn’t have it smear off less than a day later. Considering how many times I’ve gone to this salon, it’s truly disappointing that the quality has clearly gone downhill. Unfortunately, I’ll be looking for a new salon moving forward.

Update: Considering the owner is simply denying I was treated that way (which isn’t true), they are welcome to reach out to me to discuss this further as they suggested. However, they also completely ignored the actual quality of my manicure shown in the photos I provided. I got these nails done right before a 2 week trip and spent nearly $100, so the fact that they got messed up less than 24 hours later and the owner isn’t even acknowledging this is further proof that they do not value...

I really wanted to like this place because I’m in the area and I read reviews that Cindy does a good job, but I was so disappointed by my experience. My mani and pedi were so rushed because they kept taking customers even though the technicians clearly had their hands full. Cindy did my nails and I could feel her stress trying to manage the overflow of customers, which stressed me out because she would file my nails while looking around the shop trying to keep an eye on everything and manage customers. I get that it’s busy, but if you don’t have the capacity to even do your current customer’s nails with care, at some point you have to turn ppl away. I had to ask twice just to get Cindy to make my left hand match my right hand. First they weren’t the same length, and when I asked about making them the same, she said, “One hand is longer huh?” If you knew, why didn’t you just fix it to begin with? And then the shape of my nails on my left hand were noticeably different than my right, so I had to ask again about making them the same. This was my first time there, and it felt like she was just rushing through, hoping I wouldn’t notice they were uneven. It’s such a shame because I wanted to like this place, and the ladies were nice, but it’ll be my...
