Friday Oct 12th. Flew in town for the weekend was having a great time between the karaoke and pool bar. Mingled without flirting, made some friends with locals and staff, bought a couple random people drinks cause they were having a bad day. Walked up to the bar for my last drink for the night around 2am. Had a empty beer bottle in my hand and politely waited for eye contact. Suddenly the skinny brunette bartender comes screaming at me saying I've been waving and screaming at her. I told her I haven't said a thing yet she insisted it was me even though I'm standing there with a bottle in prayer hands. She grabs me a beer and slams it on the bar still yelling for some god awful reason and insisting it was me. The gentleman next to me also verified I did no such thing. So I said "BOOM, WITNESS! NOW BYE!" while waving at her and walking back to the karaoke side. She sat there for a moment looking stupid and speechless. Couple minutes later the same bouncers I've been laughing with all night are now telling me I had to leave. They were clearly on my side about the situation but still they had a job to do. Now this is the thing. I'm a disabled veteran. I go out of my way to stay out of people's way. She shouldn't have the power to ruin a kind paying customers day. I don't write reviews. I really don't wanna give this place one star. But if that one bartender is so confident that she can scream and slam beers and be in the wrong, then turn around and kick someone out for proving that she's wrong. Then she needs to leave and find a job she enjoys. The rest of the staff was lovely even the bouncers who said I had to go. But she wanted to single me out with her misplaced drama soooo 1 star. Place is great though. Free pizza, great karaoke sound system, great crowd. Stay away from the skinny, short haired bartender with glasses. At any minute she may ruin your experience for absolutely no reason. Bad customer service to literally the most polite person. Welllll at least till I got kicked out. Then I was not very...
Read moreLooks like a pretty dope place, I tasted the frozen mango drink which was on point, they give you pizza tickets you so you aren’t hungry while you are there drinking. I travel around the world I write about experiences and locations. when I came to the door and with my id, I met the most condescending disrespectful individual wearing gloves with metal knuckles on them. I said hello how’s it going tonight, he literally sized me up and said keep moving. I met up with my friends and we decided to leave, close the tabs and go to another place. Apparently one of the guys that arrived before me from my party, said he felt the same antisocial unwelcoming behavior. The only reason why I continued to even walk in it’s because my friends were already there. Places like this can definitely be considered a gem, a must visit especially when you are from out of town, but they definitely have to stop hiring these pretend to be thugs, that lack experience in hospitality, peacekeeping and professionalism. How are you supposed to be the security and safety of a place trying to intimidate people who are having a good time? It’s Williamsburg people aren’t looking for trouble, they are looking for a favorite place. Also I hope they know that if you attack someone with brass knuckles on their gloves, its illegal and can lead to lawsuits. Whom ever you put at the door of your business, remember they’re the frontline. Their behavior reflects on the business and its...
