I had a horrible experience on 1/25/2025. And I will never return. I arrived around 4:50 pm for my 5:00 pm appointment. My family and I sat in the small waiting area. Around 5:05 I noticed patrons walking in and being seated although we had reservations and were already waiting to be seated. I approached the hostess and reminded her we were waiting. She seated us promptly. Once at the table, the waiter came and raised the leaf that was in between the tables which was about 2-3 inches away from each other. This joined both tables and we were able to sit comfortably (2 adults 2 children). One of the hostesses came buy and said, "I need that table". I said which table? we are already seated. I asked if I could speak with a manager. The waiter stated, in the past both these tables were used for a party of 4. A few seconds later a different hostess came buy and repeated "I need that table!!!". I said, 4 of us do not fit in this one table. She said while pointing, " This table is for 2, and this one is for 4". I asked how is that possible when they are both the same exact size? I said there is no way 3 people + 1 highchair fit in this table. I kindly reminded her that we had reservations for 4 and asked if we can remain seated. She then yelled " I don't appreciate you being aggressive with me!!!" This while I was sitting down, and she was standing over me. It appeared as she was the aggressive one. Both of my children immediately began crying. At that point, I decided it would be best if we leave. I did not want to expose my children any further to this type of behavior. There was no offer to sit us somewhere else and no apology. I have been to several Momofuku locations, and I refuse to ever return. My children were left crying asking why "the lady was being so mean to us?". The hostess's name from what I can remember was Joanne Corteror or Cordero. And she claimed she was...

Having read Chef David Chang's books and watched him on tv, I had to rock up to a Noodle bar, when I got to the one at Columbus circle, I wished I had time to make it to the other one. I felt a tad out of place, under dressed, also had my backpack. I was sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by the bar staff. I've seen the whole pencil and order forms before so I knew what to do. I took a moment to enjoy my surroundings, the split flip display, the layout of the restaurant, the calls of the Chefs, this noodle bar definitely has a vibe. I eventually realised that you could also sit in front of the chefs, so sad I wasn't sat there, especially because I had my Proud to be a chef Tee and bag. Anywho, I remember the ginger scallion noodle dish and had to try it and also, had the pork bao. The food is great, clean and flavoursome. The chunk of pork in your bao is why the two dishes almost have the same price. I enjoyed the texture of the pork, however the smoked flavour didn't make up for the extra spices or marinate I am used to. Still a great version of a pork bao. I really enjoyed the noodle dish, the vegetables were very clean and the flavour hiding underneath it all was magical. I wish the baos hadn't filled me up so much so I could tackle the noodle dish. I ended up getting the chilli crunch for some more fun, it sure was that. When it came time to pay, I hadn't realised my international card wasn't working. The bartender was very good about it, I went to the ATM, only to find out it wasn't a quick fix, handed over another card then it was sorted I feel that the location takes away from the humbleness of ramen and bao buns, might just be a me problem. Overall, fun...

I work for Nordstrom NYC, and it's been hectic leading up to our opening date (10/24 come visit our flagship and be amazed!) and in order to make it to all of our trainings/meetings to make sure your shopping experience the best, I'm usually running around like crazy. Today I came running to this lovely place with less then 20 minutes to spare to be seated, place my order, get my food and eat. My experience thereafter made it impossible for me not to share with all of you. Firstly, I was seated immediately at the bar, the hostess walked me over to an available seat and called me a server. (No, she didn't just let me know I could have a seat at the bar and let me navigate the space myself.)I blurted my order to HENRY (remember that name, trust me!) and he was super friendly and went right away to place the order after asking if I had any allergies or restrictions and notifying me of details about my selection. When he came to fill my water glass I let him know that I was very pressed for time and he quickly spoke to the Chef and got me an estimate of how long it would take. He was extremely attentive to the food coming out of the kitchen and was able to grab my plate immediately after it was prepared and handed it to me along with my bill and I was able to scarf it all down, pay my bill (REMEMBER TO TIP YOUR SERVERS FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING EFFORTS!) and I ran into my meeting on the dot. So thank you HENRY!!! CHEERS for amazing service, great energy and a friendly demeanor. I felt like I got hooked up by my best friend! I can't wait to start having lunch here with my Nordstrom family, and even dinner dates!...
