Munchinette — Restaurant in New York

I really hate that I have to write this but the people who I told this story to were outraged so I'm writing it. First, I loved their food and prices and portions, which is why this isn't a 1 star review; HOWEVER, I was there yesterday and I saw a ROACH literally come out crawl across the area above the counter and fall into the bananas. I was skeeved to the fullest. Because I'm a decent human and understand that these things happen, instead of making a big deal, I quietly told the guy who is like the manager or owner there what I had just seen and he was like, "I'm sorry about that we just sprayed yesterday." At this point I wanted to cancel the food because obviously any desire for dinner had disappeared, but I saw they were already making it so I was like okay whatever let it not go to waste. Then, the part that everybody was shocked at ... he actually charged me for the food. I was a bit surprised myself, but I didn't want the confrontation after a long day so I paid and left. My dog had some salmon for dinner. Anyway, I was going to just let it go and wasn't going to write anything and but the consensus is that if you have roaches and a customer sees one the least you do is not charge them and pray to Gd that they don't...

Although the food is made fresh many time the quality of their services is not up to par. Their services is great as long as you don't tell them they messed up anything. The young lady who takes the order is very rude once you complain(politely i may add) and let her know something is wrong. They don't refund your money even if you barely touched your food. They do offer to make you a new one but many times it still not right. The Salmon many time is fatty their smoothie. i have been going to them for awhile and it just crazy how rude she can be when it not our fault if the food...

Munchinette is famous about them taking a long time to prepare the food. So I called in advance to order for pickup. It was a simple burger. When I came to pick it up 15 min later, they did not even start making it. While I was waiting for burger to be made, I've noticed that they dropped the bun on the floor, picked it up and put it back on a burger. Apparently that was mine.
