This place is so good that I came back the very next day.
The experience was amazing. The staff are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about how egg tarts are made and how each one tastes.
The egg tarts I bought this time was an ube cheese tart, a pineapple tart, a crème brulee red bean tart, and a signature original egg tart. Each one of them are incredible and delicious. If I had to rank them based on my favorite, the best is the ube cheese, then original, pineapple, and last the crème brûlée. I think the crème brûlée would have been #1 if the red bean was the paste rather than actual beans.
All the tarts are super creamy and the dough they are cooked in is super flaky and tasty. You can definitely eat 4 of them yourself, but I suggest actually just having 2 because they are incredibly rich. Follow the directions on the box for reheating! Or have it fresh right there at the store. They have a very, very small tabletop for maybe 2-3 people to stand and eat.
Overall, the beautiful restaurant and nice decoration makes it very welcoming, and the food they make is top tier....
Read moreCame here for the third or fourth time in the past two weeks. The tarts are decent, creativity of flavors and selection of the po tart is nice. I would've given a better rating had i not experienced this yesterday.
I placed my order on the self service kiosk as per usual. I decided to try the Matcha Affogato (biggest disappointment).
The male employee that i usually see there, unsanitary. He fulled a mop bucket on the three hand sink, which is placed right by the egg tart batch. Then he follows to make my drink order without washing his hand after touching a mop bucket. His nails were longer than the female staff on shift (she knows what shes doing, really good demeanor).
The most disappointing part though is the matcha affogato. Its an affogato with “NO espresso”. The matcha is meh. They literally give u four scoops of matcha ice cream, top with some syrup and a cinnamon swirl? Oh plus two egg tarts mashed into it. I asked the male server wheres the coffee in my affogato, it appears to me he’s not sure what affogato even is.
Dont think id come back...
Read moreI followed a friend yesterday who wanted egg tarts and we ended up finding this place on Google Maps. On our way over, it started pouring rain out of nowhere and we ran into the store with rain all over our bodies. As soon as we stepped in the store, the owner of the place was very kind and offered us paper towels to dry up. That plus the sweet, warm smell of the tarts made the atmosphere feel very welcoming and both my heart and body felt warm. My two friends and I ended up each buying a six pack box of egg tarts. You can mix and match flavors as long as they’re part of the egg tart line, so I got three originals, two creme brulee & red beans, and a chocolate bobo one. Additionally, the owner kindly offered another one so I got one more original one. The three of us ate the extra ones immediately upon receiving them and they were so tasty! The creme brulee one would later become my favorite and it held up well even after microwaving it the next day. Thank you for your kind service and tasty tarts! We’ll return next time we have a craving for...
