National Bakery — Restaurant in New York

My sister recommended me this place, the first time we bought a cake we ordered a pineapple flavor and they gave us a different flavor, next day we called the store and they said to bring it back. Another time we googled the store closing time and saw they close at 8pm me and my boyfriend got there by 7:31pm and the old lady didn’t want to sell us a cake because she said they were already closed even tho Google says otherwise. The next day we went back to get another cake and the youngest lady with the blonde hair was on her phone like if no one were there, my boyfriend ordered a pineapple flavor cake and because she was so busy on her phone, rude have no manners or anything she again gave him the wrong flavor. We are never buying anything from there, bad customer service, poor service. I feel bad for the owners that have employees like this ruining...

If I could give them zero stars I would very horrible service they always get my order wrong they get mad when you repeat the order slow.. and still get it wrong I literally just left order 2 sandwich’s she was mad about me being dry because it’s 7 am I just worked a overnight shift she thought I didn’t understand Spanish .. it’s really sad that Spanish people feel like they are there own race and will treat an African American like they are nothing talk about us like we dogs because they think we don’t understand what they are saying I order a bacon egg and cheese I got 2 pcs of bacon and I asked for a ham egg and cheese I left for 2 seconds to McDonald’s and it was a ham and cheese sandwich with ketchup and Mayo that I didn’t ask for this has been on more then one occasion and they will skip over you to serve another Spanish person smh I thought we...

Went to order a birthday cake for my partner. The lady who attended me was on the phone while I placed my order, and had to put her phone down since I had asked for writing on the cake. When it came time to enjoy the cake we noticed there was MOLD! It was a family gathering where my little nieces had already eaten into their slices when we noticed. When I went back with the cake to complain I was offered an “apology” and “store credit”… I insisted that I wanted a refund since I don’t plan on purchasing from here again.
