Taqueria El Cebollin — Restaurant in New York

(update, 4.17.24) the owner is a solid person and man of his word. even with my poor communication, he went out of his way to rectify a miscommunication several days after the fact.

He recommended a steak chimichanga and delivered it himself. It was delish, flawlessly crispy and the steak cooked perfection. Couldn’t even take a picture cause i ate it so fast. Shout out to him, his business and food is worth supporting. 👌🏿

(update) There was some miscommunication with the staff, probably due to a language barrier. The owner since spoke to me directly and was very kind + respectful. Offered his personal recommendations including sending out a comped meal.

Mexican truck, so the atmosphere is a Bronx block lol. On google, it shows a vast menu with lots of options and pictures but in reality the truck only has tacos.

Anyways that would be all fine except the birria tacos were tough. i had to gnaw through my tacos and drench em in the consomé which had chewy pieces of uneatable meat inside. (i don’t even think it was birria, just undercooked chicken pieces)

Ok fist of all I'm going to start by saying i love tacos and i had my shared of them i consider my self a foodie and i give reviews base on what i eat and how i like it i also read reviews of places before going.me and my husband we're graving birria tacos so we search Google for beat tacos in bx.so now let me start by honestly saying the tacos i bough had no flovor at all and the meat inside was way to big i didn't want to shoke so i had to take it out and cut them i also had orchata juice and it had no flovor tasted more like water down milk. and i had it before from another food truck and it was delicious i also had the birria tacos from another food truck and was delicious and that was my first time trying this food .would i give this food truck another try maybe 🤔?the 3 start was for food only other then that the guy that tock my order was wonderful and food came out fast and hot 🔥.if i do give it another try i write...

My husband and I used to LOVE this place. We ordered from here frequently for like 5 years until one of their delivery guys tried to attack my husband with a knife. When we called them, the owner was never around and the staff pretended not to know who the attacker was. The police was called and the owner didn't want to take responsibility for his employee and he also pretended not to know who the employee was. This was a great place and I was surprised to experience this. I guess things have changed...
