Taqueria Mr. Pancho — Restaurant in New York

Please understand one thing, the food is amazing! No doubt about it and very reasonably priced. I haven’t visited in a while because of previous lack of customer service the ladies give when you order. I also operate a food truck, so I know, it’s not easy, but to the employees, you choose this job. One thing that should always be number #1, is RETURN BUSINESS, especially in food service and ESPECIALLY in our current climate while dealing with a pandemic. Unfortunately, because of what I just dealt with, I cannot patron this establishment. I’m unsure of the menu options at times and I like to look and see what the regulars usually get. I tell the lady, “I’m not ready to order yet”. I saw something I liked and quickly asked for it (chicken quesadilla, with everything INSIDE of it). Right before I ordered, the murmurs started and a worker came behind me to move the tip box, which was on a chain, back inside the service window. INSANE...I don’t live in the area, so I’m not sure what has happened before, the truck is actually em route to my home, looks to be a rough neighborhood but hey, you choose to open an establishment there. I’m a 30+ year old, I work, I’m an entrepreneur, a member of a coalition who SUPPORT’S STREET VENDORS and I love my borough, The Bronx. This should have NEVER happened, and some correction must be made, I will no longer support financially for my reasons, so I hope this business corrects their short comings and doesn’t make the same mistake twice. They have the best authentic Mexican food around here! They are very attentive and give very large portions! You get a lot for your dollar! Fresh Bistec, cilantro, limes! Be careful with the red sauce....it is extremely hot lmfao. Don't know how my sons do it! The sopes fill you up and are my favorite. They top with queso! Fresh!Just wished they had Horchata! The Guacamole with chips is humongous! 2 different pans! Honestly, you just dont know what to pick! Everything...

If you don’t know Spanish they will hang up. I understand what she’s saying but I just can’t respond in Spanish. She didn’t try to accommodate at all and didn’t even apologize in either language. When I go there in person for take out while speaking English I have no problems, so why hang up on me for delivery? The food is good but I won’t be tipping...
