Moving to Parkslope/ Downtown Brooklyn from the Bronx, adjusting to new neighborhood , ha, the rival borough. Surrounded by such beautiful, unique diversity in the culinary arts and experiences; The North Pole, within a year of my arrival to the neighborhood, organically has become my to go spot, my safe space. Not just when I visit alone to work on my writing at 2/3 in the morning, but also when I’ve brought a close friend to vent about her romantic relationships and heartaches, but also just to unwind and get lose, momentarily pausing once day-to-day adult struggle, by getting lost in Cartoon Networks imaginary worlds though caricatures of our human dreams and desires. It’s a great mix crowded. Clean bathrooms. Good vibe out front in the smoking area. Great conversations. What sealed it for me was and is the goose guava beer on tab. We were the only ones asked to leave while everyone (whites) enjoyed the rest of their drinks and partied the night away. I really never felt this way after leaving an establishment. Wow is this really the new...

Had a charge for 56.00 and I only ordered two beers and then tried to convince me she closed me out when I clearly did not close out and was calling me drunk and high the entire time. I had smoked half a joint right before I came in but I was not too high to remember that I had an open tab. Anyway mistakes happen but she was clearly drunk and was screaming at me belligerently. The one with the bob haircut. Just admit to your mistake that you gave someone else my card and don't charge me almost $60...
