Olde City Cheesesteaks & Brew — Restaurant in New York

I’m part of a construction crew repairing a water main outside of this restaurant for the last month It’s not fully open yet but the inside is looking really nice. You can order takeout only. There are about a dozen places to choose from for lunch but almost the whole crew orders from Olde City exclusively. These cheese steaks are addicting. I’ve tried all the different combinations ( different cheeses , peppers , onions…. etc. ) and the next one is always better than the last one. The fries!!!! The fries on their own are amazing but then they got the balls to offer cheese, bacon , steak , italian seasoning…. the options are endless. Last but not least, I tried the pork sandwich. I should say reluctantly tried because i was figuring that they are know for their cheese steaks. What can i say, I liked the pork even more then the cheese steaks. Amazing flavor , tender and juicy!!! I’ve only sampled a very small part of the menu but i’m looking foward to trying the rest. While jumping on line to write this review I realized they have a few places scattered around Manhattan. I hope my next job location is no where near any of them !!! My waste line...

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but that was absolutely the worst cheese steak I ever had. Something told me to wait until I got uptown to order from the corner Bodega but when I went online to lookup cheese steaks near where I was at this place popped up and had some pretty good reviews" so being the food conisur that I am and also being 8 months pregnant I said to myself, It must be worth it for the price tag of $20 plus tax. So I ordered the cheesesteak, fries and sprite and couldn't wait to tear into it being that those cravings was kicking in. Baaaby let me tell you how I went from anticipating to oh hell nah when I bit into to it, I don't know what dog food taste like but I would imagine like this on a roll but with a little more flavor, and the fries were dry and added no exception to the meal, talk about disappointment I was pretty much robbed of $22 dollars only to give me food away to a homeless man omw to the train lol. Listen do yourself a favor and stop by your local Bodega deli the next time your craving a real flavorful authentic cheesesteak. Now im bout to order some Chinese food and call it a day....

First time "here", table for 2 was available but I was told because my husband was around the corner I couldn't sit. I told them I was ordering us dinner, was told no. My husband is approaching the bar and they give the table away with me standing in front of it. This is your customer service? What would 5 min have made? Will go somewhere else.

Update after the establishments kind response: I hope all go to Google to see how you treat customers. I was at your other establishment near midtown in the beginning of the season where my friend was waiting for me, at a high top, at the bar, he ordered drinks and food. Bottom line you refused to let me sit, order food and wait for my husband.
