Ovi's Place — Restaurant in New York

When I went in there to order My mail they didn’t have one of the sides I wanted so I left. I came back and I just got the chicken originally my meal was supposed to be to stay, but she gave me the chicken to go. As I proceed to open the container with my chicken in it, the chicken she gave me was so burnt and dry. I feel like she did it on purpose cause she thought I wasn’t going to stay and because I changed my mind the first time About wanting to purchase the meal. Before I even decided to order my food, I went to look at the baked chicken And I didn’t see no burnt chicken all the chicken was nice brown. I didn’t see that one burnt chicken inside so that means she purposely searched and make sure I got that burnt chicken. I should’ve took a picture instead. I was mad. I gave them the food and I got my money back. As I proceeded to walk to receive my refund, she’s seen that I got up and she tried not to make any eye contact. Never again If you don’t like your job, go work...

I have been here a few times but this is my worse experience here. I ordered the tuna salad with tons of veggies. First the person preparing my salad actually put it together was rude from the jump. Then the topper was her dropping something and asking someone should she pick it up and put it in my bowl. He proceeds to tell her “I don’t know, ask her. “ They made a comment about how I have a lot of stuff in my salad and it’s not a salad. Like there isn’t a salad without lettuce. Especially a veggie-concentrated salad. Lastly as I was leaving I was told that I would alway be fat. The two servers said it among themselves but I heard them.

I won’t be returning back. I have never been treated this way in an establishment. Disgusting!

I spoke to the manager and he apologized for their behavior. He offered that I come in and I could get a discount. That’s a nice gesture. I am happy that he was considerate of...

The male employees in here have nasty attitudes. I've eaten there three times and will never again. Two times the bowl was not even full, a little bit of food for the amount I could pay at chipotle. The rice was hard the first time and the beef was nasty. The second time the girl made my food and it was decent. Today, I went in and the male employee was putting half spoonfuls of food, so I asked for more, and he got an attitude, so I walked out and didn't pay for anything. I won't give my hard earned money to a nasty business. It's a cheap version of chipotle for the same price. Chipotle is opening in December around the corner near the Popeyes. This so called restaurant will lose A LOT of money, or THEY'LL BE OUT OF...
