Worst place to order food! I ordered a mix fried rice for pick up then when I got there the lady started arguing with me telling me that I ordered a roast pork fried rice. Now I'm Guyanese what the hell. I don't know what that is. Then I told her I'm not paying for that because I didn't order that and she argued some more with me until she agreed to order my mix fried rice. But get this the food came out and I left only to open the bag and find a chicken fried rice. I've never been so frustrated over something so simple I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Don't be like me and waste ur time to come here you would be better of at any of those Guyanese spots on liberty ave.

GUYANA šŸ‡¬šŸ‡¾ Eat the World NYC review: The Original Palm Court in Georgetown, the capital city of Guyana, is a place every local and tourist knows about and ends up at least once. The vast indoor-outdoor establishment serves as a restaurant, bar, and nightlife spot, something this popular Jamaica, Queens spot replicates. Live cricket is a big draw when big international matches are taking place, but drinks and a menu serving many of Guyana's cultures is why most come back again and again.

When Pete was managing this place, had great fresh food always with a good chef! Now hes not around . Mr.bubby and his girlfriend running the place. I cannot believe you guys are serving people frozen food! You made the Mexican Porter into a Microwave Chef lol even the rotis is frozen. I guess someone cooks it and have the Mexican microwave and serve to the customers. WOW. Don't believe ME just checked fridge and the kitchen! Look for yourself!

After 8 years I finally went back. Bartender came up to us seated us. Took out order We got our bucket that’s fine I completely understand the place is busy I used to bartend also. But we were taught to check up on each tables even if it’s not yours make sure they are always good. But here she never once came up to us mind you we ordered snapper and fries waited a whole hour She would pass by and not pay attention to us and not bring us our food. After multiple attempts to get one bartender attention to let her know we never got what we ordered we finally got it Also needed another bucket of beer imagine the struggle. But I’ve also noticed every man that walked in she would literally jump to hug them likeeee? It felt embarrassing to sit there waitingfor so long for the things we ordered. Oh snapper came it smelt so stink the table next to us wondered what that was because it smell so bad. The fries tasted rank like they fried it in the same oil as the fish and the fries soaked up all that fishy oil. Literally had to leave everything. Another thing I forgot to add they are serving underage kids in there. I worked in a restaurant and bar before and I know these set of people and I know her daughter is only 18 and I saw her drinking this corona...

Called the restaurant and placed an order for delivery. Person taking the order said food should be at my place in 20mins since I'm 2 blocks from the restaurant. Called back an hour later after the food still didn't arrive. A man picks up (the owner or manager) and says the last order he has in the system for me is from March. I asked him if he could inquire with one of waitresses about the order and he says "don't you think they will lie about taking the order". I'm stunned!! What does that have anything to do with anything? You have to question the integrity of the people that work for you, for something as simple as taking a phone order? Or maybe that was just an excuse because he felt a customer's business isn't important enough to even ask his staff. Then he goes on to tell me they don't deliver past 8pm on Sundays. Sat here hungry for no reason!! They obviously didn't care!!! The man didn't even apologize, just put forth lame excuses... they obviously don't care about the people that keep places like this in business. DONT EAT HERE!!! DONT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!! THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I'VE SEEN FROM A...

Let me first start by saying I Love the food here! Its always on point which is why i keep coming back. HOWEVER, customer service is not their priority. This is the second time i called and i was greated with a "Hi", if I was a customer calling for the first time i wouldnt know if i was calling the right place. The attitude on the phone was as if they were doing me a favor by answering the phone. So, i continued to place my order, because i do love the food here. Now to pick up, i walk in and was greated by, "Yes". So i said im here to pick up an order, the reply was "what did you order" with the same attitude. Now i have think about everything i ordered. If only they took a name or phone number during my order i wouldnt have to list every item. Palm court has been around for a while, and ill probably keep ordering, i just wish their employees didnt make me feel like i was bothering them while they...
