If I could give a zero star rating, I would!

Walked in last weekend for the first time ever (around 720 pm) and by the time I tried on outfit number 2 (nearing closing time, which was 745 pm… but who knew??? I had no idea!) the sales employee proceeded to tell me (in Bangla) “thaara thaari, thaara thaari, shara deen khuthai chilen?” “Hurry hurry, where were you all day??”

She was annoyed and in a rush, but there were still other employees in the shop assisting other customers so wth?!

I really thought I left that type of rude behavior when I stopped wasting my $$ and time at Jackson heights … but my gosh, it’s seeped over to Jamaica now!! Not sure why Bangladeshi employees / owners of these clothing stores feel they can speak or treat anyone so horribly?

We had such a lovely experience shopping here yesterday! We purchased a couple of absolutely beautiful outfits, and Salma went above and beyond to help us find the perfect pieces. She was so patient and kind, and she really has a great eye for selecting unique, elegant styles. These dresses are extra special because they will be worn as the groom’s sisters, and since we were shopping last minute, her help meant so much to us. The store itself has a gorgeous selection of authentic Indian bridal and bridal guest clothing honestly some of the nicest and most unique pieces we’ve come across in the area. Salma and the manager, Monin, are both absolute sweethearts who made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. My wife have been making purchases from them for couple of years now and she never complained about anything. Me and my wife we both are really satisfied by their work. All of them are very friendly and understanding. But there’s an employee named Setu Apu. If any of you’re trying to look at their collection from a different point of view then I would recommend speaking to setu apu.
