4.5 stars. While I was exiting the Steinway Street subway station the other day, I noticed a new bakery had opened up on 34th avenue. There is another Paris Bakery located just a few blocks away on 30th Avenue so this would be their second location in Astoria.

Just like the other location, they serve various baked goods (tarts, cakes, croissants, etc.), hot and cold beverages, sandwiches, fruit cups and gelato. The shop is super cute, very clean and has a great laid-back atmosphere. They have a fairly big set up in front of the bakery for outdoor seating.

I ordered a few items on my first visit and was so impressed. Strangely though, they do not have a menu posted anywhere on the premises and most of the items in the cases did not have a label. So, there was a lot of questions and finger pointing (at the items) when I ordered. I got an almond tart, a raspberry fruit tart, a Snickers chocolate dessert bar, and what looked like a Ferrero Rocher chocolate dessert thingy.

The desserts were each $4.50 which was a bargain in my opinion. The almond tart was a tad bit on the dry side but was so great with coffee. The raspberry fruit tart was wonderfully fresh, the crust buttery and flaky, and the cream filling smooth. The Snickers chocolate dessert bar was shaped like a popsicle but was actually a slice of cake with chocolate cream and nuts. It was sooooo good. The Ferrero Rocher chocolate dessert was my favorite. I was expecting this one to be super sweet, but it wasn’t. It was made with both dark and milk chocolate, and had pieces of hazelnuts, and topped with a thick cracker and a Ferrero Rocher chocolate. Absolutely heavenly!

If you’re looking for goodies to bring to work, to a party or to treat yourself, then I highly recommend trying this place. Their pastries are so delicious and they make damn...

i was walking by i noticed it looked decent and so i was gonna get a cup of coffee but there was a dog inside this place so i never really went in it the guy working there seemed like he was out of his mind and there was a lady there with him who kept talking about the smell of balls over and over again with tons of insults and curse words aimed at random people walking by who were told they weren't allowed to take photos of the shop and it was their place how dare they im pretty sure its not illegal to take random photos of anything on the street she was kind of weird or strange looking short and she had on some wild jogging pants from france her bf seemed like he was lost in space liek he was looking for a fight yet he wasnt sure if he...

I have been to this place before and I have liked it until today that I was not satisfied. They charge for a spoon of almond milk in the coffee. $1 is not making me rich or poor. The problem was when I noticed that instead of keeping a routine customer , they simply ignored and the gentleman asked the barista to put regular milk without asking me if I was ok. There is a reason I am asking almond instead of milk and he should know or be more mindful. I am still satisfied with the atmosphere but because of the bad service this place deserves only one star today. I will try again and have my friends try and pay attention to these details. Well, thisI may edit my review, or they may get good or more bad...

My friend and I stopped by here for a quick dessert. the man up front was super friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions. We got the blackberry cake and the mini tarts (raspberry and blueberry) both of which were absolutely delicious. I got a hot chocolate to drink and it was so creamy and actually tasted like hot chocolate instead of plain hot milk (Which is what my hot chocolate usually tastes like when I order from bakeries/cafes). We also got a coconut cookie to go because it just looked so irresistible. The place is super clean and has a great ambience. We hope to return soon!

Today, I needed to recharge and find a place where I could have breakfast and try some new food. I discovered this cute little spot called Paris Bakery, and the experience was fantastic. I’ve been to Paris many times, and it reminded me of Paris a bit. If you like to eat healthily like myself, avoiding too much sugar in your coffee and too much sodium in your food, then this is the place for you. I had a cheese omelette, which was soft, and to drink, I had an iced matcha with almond milk. The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean.
